    Gravel floor in the doorless garage? Strange? There’s supposed to be a housing shortage yet speaking to an estate agent I know he says there’s never been so many houses for sale - and arn’t being sold very quickly?

    Withams will bleed you dry, they haven’t even paid the MOD yet for what ex mod stuff they’re selling and still want top $ or £ in this case.

    Did you ask them to fix a Honda motor or fix a wallenstein? Any decent mower, chainsaw outlet should be able to sort that? Is the oil level correct? If you can’t get it fixed I’ll buy it off you as is and part ex a splitting axe ?

    Just be aware “bark” chippings are different to arborists wood chips? Bark chips are from when soft wood is “peeled” to remove the bark for stakes, rails, jump poles etc. Arborist wood chip is when everything is chipped - the clean timber, branches, leaves - the lot. Bark chips give a relatively long term decorative finish, wood chip can be unsightly and will eventually rot down?

    You never offered to pay in your first post. The farmers I know in my area who take wood chip also buy it in by the bulker load!

    You were fortunate (if you could be in a case like this?) that they went to the trouble of pumping/ syphoning the diesel out? The damage drilling the tank would be far worse - new tank, delivery waiting time, labour fitting. I don’t lock any fillers, the bastards can have the fuel and we can only hope they die from drinking diesel after syphoning. Many years ago diesel thieves drove at my father in law when they were nicking diesel from his farm. He was in his 70s then and he just managed to jump clear otherwise they’d of run him down? Unfortunately he did not get a description?

    A lot of golf courses are struggling financially ? Something like 1 in 6 are close to calling it a day. Why can’t they recoup some of the cost?
