  1. I'm qualified cs 30,31, 38,39 I'm the lead climber and I'm only on £8. Tree work is only a small part of what I do but even still the pay is atrocious! The benefits I get out way the negatives. 6month full pay on the sick then 6months half, civil service pension scheme that doesn't cost me a penny, massive job security and guaranted money every month on the dot. I am luck enough to be an Army Reservist with rank so my pay from this buffers the difference plus and annual tax free bonus of £1700 just for being a member. I would love to take the plunge and set up my own business but all the above make that a hard decision whilst I have 3 kids 6, 3 and 6 months. Each to their own, some people wouldn't get out of bed for it others would take it and work thier balls off for it.
  2. I use the above off ebay for any phone I get. It is In 2 pieces and it is bolted around the phone with a layer of padding and an artificial toughened screen. Famous last words im yet to brake a phone whilst in this case [emoji85]

    Cs39?

As above its best to be over prepared then the assessment will be a walk in the park.
  7. I'm not sure it's the same throughout the NHS but mine was done by a sausage factory (pardon the pun) private company but payed for by the NHS. They had a queue of us one after another. Now trying to get a follow up appointment iv waited 11 months as the private clinic want me to pay and the NHS pretty much wash their hands of it as they didn't do the op. Don't take the above as me slagging off the NHS I am a supporter of it, I feel we are lucky to have it. If you have ever lived abroad and needed hospital treatment you will soon appreciate them! Ps, the op is a breeze! Anesthetic is the worst part and thats nothing more than unpleasant.
  8. Finally!! Here is our examples of what you had found. The larger building was a radar station looking for western approaches whilst the smaller buildings were gun placements in a triangular shape around the larger building to protect it. We also have anti air gun positions throughout the camp. There was a full anti air Battery based here during ww2
  9. Hope u mend quickly dude[emoji106] [emoji106]

    crane vid

It is your right. I just thought if they are making a promotional type video at least ad some skill into it

    crane vid

Seems a little lazy. The climber doesn't climb he is just winched Into position by the crane. And the crane is removing huge sections at a time. Nit a great deal of skill involved. Just the quickest way to get the job done with the tools at his disposal.

    Pine.

Roughly 4.5 m in length. 33 inches across the widest part. Worth selling? Only going to be cut up for logs
  13. Thanks for the reply I will have a browse..
  14. There not up to spec for safety (ie steel toe or sole) but I wear Altbergs iv had 5 yrs out of mine so far soles have just worn through so contemplating having them re-soled. But they are fantastic. Like training shoes to wear and they are gortex but breathable so can be worn right through summer and winter!
  15. I think maybe your price has just risen [emoji23]

  18. Me with a morter I found after some excavation work.... Soon after the police put up an exclusion zone and called army bomb disposal. And my favourite picture of my 2 boys chasing me towards my wife.
  19. Sound piece of advice. Sorry to hear of your break in
  20. And this [emoji107] I don't wish to cause any stereotypes but the gentleman who last touched this tree was from the other side of the Irish Sea
  21. I went off sugar in my brew almost over night... I have an almost ocd routine of a morning the first thing I do is make a brew at 0600. I did this and thought my brew was weirdly sweet so I assumed I had put sugar in twice meaning there would have been 4 tea spoons in. So I made another cuppa tea and ut tasted the exact same. It was weird I have never had sugar in my brew since.
