  1. It is hard to draw lines when so many words have so many meanings also delivery and reference are key to your perceived intended outcome. Ie I call my 2 and a half year old daughter a little monkey because she is going through the climb on/over everything stage I also call her a terror whenever she tips the toy box upside down rather than take the toy she wants out of the box. Both instances are in jest and comparative to the task she carries out. It’s a bit like stating you can swim like a fish, not offensive! Your perceived outcome can also be misinterpreted, for what you see or say in a meaning of good manner/humour or can easily be misconstrued. Will we get to the point though where it will be easier to avoid conversation for fear of confrontation?
  2. Yes it’s brutal this day in age, thanks for the clips guys but not my humour even for the year/s it was out. Cheers, porridge and only fools however now they are timeless. Have to admit though I only watched the 1st Star Wars film the other night I’m on a mission to watch them all to see what all the fuss is about, I know I know where have I been . . .
  3. I’m a bit young for love thy neighbour being only 32 and that but now you have thrown a bone your going to have to post a clip.
  4. You really should re invest in a tv license.
  5. I started the top gear clips to merely show positives from our great country and how much we do in other areas other than financial and to suggest we can do well out of the EU. Clarkson and Mays clip you showed to vote remain is to what essentially adds up to them doing less paperwork to carry on their globe trotting in cars if we stay in ........ hardly the strongest viewpoint I have seen. Ahh on the contrair Brexit is only just beginning when the time is right her mps will stand in line. Only weeks ago we didn’t think we would be speaking about trade but this little thing called progress has happened ......
  6. I just wish others would promote the good we do and the worth we have instead of putting us down and saying we are doomed.
  7. Hedera is my weapon of choice although I’m not on ZZ.
  8. I suppose it’s how you interpret it, only guessing but I highly doubt it was done with malice more aimed at humour given the maths attached to the costume. Its easy to look at at it and think racist but the question is if a black person dressed up as a black person ie mrs Abbott would people see that as humour or racism which then leads to if whites can only do fancy dress as other whites and blacks only fancy dress as blacks is that not more racist in the sense that they don’t want to dress as someone other than their skin colour and does it suppress multiculturism and create seclusion? hmm what a complicated world we live in. Personally im not racist, fortunately not been at the thick end of racism against me have a sense of humour and see it as intended humour and in all honesty because of the maths can see the humour intended. Anybody need me im over here under my tin hat!
  9. Just watching an old top gear on Dave season 20 episode 6. Will we do well outside of the EU, absolutely.
  10. Sorry I thought I mentioned Instagram first off ,it was on there haha wes_tts that’s me drop us a line and I’ll follow you
  11. Added on what?
  12. If it was just Tree Work and you could complete the work in the timeframe given would you Tender and crack on if won? I would.
  13. Your welcome, if your boss is paying get SJ 3 rope guide and positioner, you won’t be disappointed.
  14. Out of interest if how many wouldn’t Tender for a similar contract in your home town or city?
  15. Thanks Wes , would you say the sj3 is better than the 2.1? I climbed on the 2.1 for a couple of months and found really good, only annoying thing was it sometimes takes up slack if the wind is blowing abit, art positioner i have never tried tho Can’t comment sorry, I never climbed on the 2.1 however the 3 has a lock out feature and is better in the hand or so I am told. I previously climbed ZZ which I thought was ok but it’s not a patch on the SJ 3 in my opinion however we are all different and like different things so it’s each to their own. What I would say with the SJ is it’s not great with friction so getting to your 1st limb isn’t like the promo vid shows but it’s not hard either once you are used to how it best works. Once you are in the canopy though and climbing the tree using 1 hand to push rope through the SJ it’s seamless also once you have chosen your TIP I use the rope guide and from then on it’s a dream. It’s an unbelievable combo. Im happy with my set up and have complete confidence in my kit for that reason I can’t be bothered with SRT as buying it and toying around to find the sweet spot is both costly in time and money that I’d rather keep. The kit costs money but once you have it you have it so to speak and I like being minimalistic in my approach I only climb with what I need, my harness consists of strop, my rope guide for TIP a small 1st aid kit and tool strop with saw anything else I need gets sent up.
  16. Art rope guide SJ 3 and positioner is a great set up for ddrt. Silky smooth, minimum friction and once used to the kit you can move around pretty quick with minimum effort.
  17. It seems a bit of a Hail Mary and may not work but it seems to me you have nothing to lose, they aren’t for helping so ..... Hail Mary away.
  18. Then how do you use the saw
  19. I would argue they have no right in throwing something away that is not their property which you also see as evidence, what are they trying to hide. I would threaten legal and maybe go and see a no win no fee solicitor. No deals no discounts a new saw or pursue it legally.
  20. 540 all the way for me.
  21. Use a silky for smaller stuff or on pines if you make your first cut an inch or so away from the branch collar and your second cut behind branch collar almost into the main trunk it will hold for a few seconds and twist off and drop nice. Practice will help too.
  22. Came across a goat willow on a canal bank with a tpo on it last year.
  23. Not a bad deal considering we are leaving the EU.
  24. http://dailym.ai/2nO9MdN
  25. Suppose that’s the key ingredient, seeing it in the flesh. What’s bugging me about it is someone made the effort to attach the rope high up why not attach it a bit higher and fell it in 3 or 4 sections. Your already there so to speak get a saw sent up and crack on.
