  1. I picked you up wrong then. I though you had a mortgage for a modest home in Devon (all relative) and selling allowed you to release capital to purchase outright? I guess I’ll put my soapbox back in it’s drawer. 🤣 Come on J. We can join that other lad on here that does the group sex commune thing. At least if we do it in Sweden we can pretend we’ve made it a personal choice.
  2. Rome was bad enough. 😳
  3. Well it’s a blessing and a curse I’ll just have to live with I guess.
  4. J, the only reason you’re in the fortunate position of owning a property in a more socialist country is purely down to taking a mortgage out in a more capitalist country first. You’ve reaped the rewards of an ever increasing housing crisis in the UK and dipped. Your sorry is not one of socialism but one of pure capitalism. You know I’m really chuffed for you and I know you’re gonna make it work. All down to your determination and work ethic. But Geeezo, you’ve played the capitalist system and won. Nothing more. I might join you in a few years. 🤣 We can milk our communal cows together whilst ensuing our compound is free of roving gangs looking to loot and rape. 😬
  5. Seems like it’s easier to visit the queen in person than the easily spooked Mark JJ. Always a bit sick when someone’s in town so I hear.
  6. I must admit, it’s a bit unfair in painting Sweden with the same brush as Malmo. It’s like saying England is as bad as London or Bradford. I’m much happier in a rural setting. Im not gonna get raped out here, no matter how much I try.
  7. Shit 🤣 But shit and the rape capital of Europe.
  8. You to Egger.
  9. Ive got your back.
  10. Im not so sure. I'll take that quid bet. Watch out Dempsie will be along sooner or later with an offer I cant help but refuse.
  11. It has to be an investment if you're being forced into spending upwards of £30,000 in upgrades to a property where the law has given all the rights to the tenants. In Norway the owner has far more rights than they do in the UK. But of course houses, like they are globally, are seen as an investment. This is something thats never ever going to go away unless we go full on Communist.
  12. Oh well….
  13. Shell pulled out due to the SNP requiring the Greens to prop them up in Government. The Greens demands are basically shutting down or stopping any new fields. The SNP are then stuck between a rock and a hard place. Depending on O&G for an independent Scotland to work and pretending to wanting to go Green. The Cambo field was the sacrificial lamb to appease the Greens. Shell does not have time for that nonsense.
  14. We don’t need to Frack really. We need to better utalise the oil and gas reserves in the UK waters. There is masses of it still out there but for political reasons, namely “environment” and Scottish Independence we’re ignoring the elephant in the room. Norway has far less political pressure and has within the last 5 years brought a few massive fields on-line.
  15. Yeh, get a Logosol M7, M8 or an F2 they’re basically Fence Post makers. Just as Leslie.
  16. I think there is a substantial market for novice, weekend warrior and general gardening types that would appreciate this chain. Hope it does well.
  17. What’s the world coming to?
  18. Exactly! That’s the way I do it. Clotted cream is harder to spread than jam so it makes sense to spread it against the firmness of the scone. Why anyone would put jam on first and try to spread the cream on after is anyones guess.
  19. Imagine buying a machine off of this guy and you had an issue with it? No thanks.
  20. The real question is cream on the top or the bottom?
  21. Before or after tea and crumpets?
  22. Love it! Not sure I’ll use it but you never know. I actually just bought a couple rotatech chains as they where a tenner each delivered. (Stihl 034) Abused one all day and I’ve yet to sharpen it or re-tension it. Very impressed so far. Proof will be in the re-sharpening pudding I guess. But a tenner to hack through gritty, muddy firewood for 10 plus hours has to be a bargain regardless if I just bin it now.
  23. I’ve yet to put a foot wrong legally. Times they are a changing though.
  24. 15-20% profit? That low a margin? I’m planning on 40-50% or it’s just not worth it.
  25. Not off radar, just, well you know
