  1. I think anyone who buys Global are conned into buying a brand name and buying into the hype. If I was to spend £250 plus on a knife again Global would be the last brand Id consider.
  2. Some pics from my day-trip. I think this tree we drive through is the save one in the vintage pic. Amazing views too.
  3. Boasting about how skilled he is at tracking people down via the internet yet forgets the address he was “hacking” within minutes. I actually felt embarrassed for him. 🤣
  4. He kinda has a point. On the lone hand he claims to be this super sleuth that with the minimum of information tracked down my address, the biggest give-away being a shared drive (🙄) He claims to do this as an interest yet being asked within 15 minutes to prove it he says he’s forgotten and can’t be arsed. 🤣 It’s like being 9 years old in the playground again. I’m not a particularly private person and have yet to have anyone carry out a vendetta on me through sharing what others might consider personal information. If anyone can piece together my full name, my employer, my cars reg, which are all on here then post up my address then go for it. This AH(small)PP is pure cringe and speaking pure shite. I’ll keep myself fairly legal as my only neighbour is an insane stickler for the rules. I’ve had some veiled threats from him as I’ve been removing 5 cubes a quarter from my garden and he’s pissed as it’s taken him 6 months to remove a 12” DBH Cherry from his garden. Not to mention he thought he owned my Driveway (more ammo for smallPP) and had plans to run his services up the side of “his” drive. Lots of little joys like this. Yes, the Lean-to might not be as per PD. I think it’s a max of 30m3 or half the curtilage? I’ll have to look again. If it comes to it I’d just make a spacer. Yes, believe it or not I go out of my way to keep them happy. Which I appreciate sounds like a stretch. 😁 I met a guy in Norway who lives in Scotland and had my neighbours company in to build his house. Supposedly he’s kicked him off for being such a difficult person to deal with. You don’t shit on your own doorstep etc.
  5. Ive been out to the Sequoia National Park in Cali. Was breath taking.
  6. Well I appreciate the favour. Seemed more like a veiled threat to be honest. And how convenient you can’t find it again. Proper cringe, like.
  7. PM me my address then. 🤣 I think you’re talking shite. 🤣🤣
  8. Well that’s true. Not sure how have my address though? Certainly 3 here do, and I’m not sure they’re the dobbing in type. 🤣 I’m sure I’m still within PD anyway so no big deal really.
  9. Cheers Gary. I’m happy with it.
  10. Thank you. It was certainly over kill with the workbench. It’s the first log I ever milled so nice to use it on an almost daily basis. The workshop is within the sizes for permitted development so no planning needed. At least that’s my take on it? My neighbour would love to screw me over so I checked and re-checked I was legal. The Lean-to was an after thought, but I wanted somewhere to keep the Log Splitter, Stump Grinder, ride on mowers and other petrol powered tools out of the rain. It’s not occurred to me it might fall out with permitted development. Will see what happens. We’re quite remote and it’s well behind the house. If I get a visit then I’ll know it’s the only neighbour to me who’s instigated it. Then I’ll bang a couple of gates on my drive that they have right of way to access their cottage and soon to be holiday rental. I can’t see them wanting to rock the boat there.
  11. I’d have assumed a chef would be the best person to ask? I’ve this brand of Japanese knives. 32 layer Damascus steel. Kasumi Damascus 24cm Sashimi Knife - Knives from Knives from Japan UK WWW.KNIVESFROMJAPAN.CO.UK Buy Kasumi Damascus 24cm Sashimi Knife Kasumi Damascus from our Knives range - Free delivery over £50 For sharpening I’ve found nothing beats a Japanese set of whetstones. Starts at 220 grit and the finest is 8000. It’s another level of sharp.
  12. Ive been slowing building my wee workshop and Lean-to. Got the doors build and hung last time I was home. Made a Start on the Lean-to deck as well. Built an Oak and Beech workbench for the ‘shop.
  13. Yes. Nothing but self serving parasites. The French had the right idea on how to deal with Royalty. If they genuinely bring in anything remotely like 2 billion then why pay them anything and fund their security? Seems like they can fund this themselves quite easily so let them. It baffles me there is still grown men defending such a disgusting organisation.
  14. Exactly! Leeching off of the backs of hard working taxpayers. And that’s just the RF. 🤣
  15. They're even including revenue from TV shows that have historic RF members in it. Like we have to have a Monarchy today to make a historic series like The Crown. So thats 150 million a year you can take off that list right away.
  16. Well, if Scotland gets independence perhaps we can tell the German RF to f-off?
  17. MI5 warning over 'Chinese agent' in Parliament WWW.BBC.COM The rare alert sent to MPs comes after a long-running investigation into Christine Ching Kui Lee. Interesting to see how deep the CCP has infiltrated the UK Government and how deep Labours noses are in the Trough as well. One of the MPs funded by Ms Lee was Labour's Barry Gardiner, who received over £420,000 from her in five years - but he said he had always made the security services aware of the donations.
  18. When you read the break down of this supposed 2 billion most if not all would still be made if the RF was disbanded completely. Thank you Ma’am: Royals earn Britain nearly £2billion a year | UK | News | Express.co.uk WWW.EXPRESS.CO.UK THE monarchy has contributed nearly £1.8billion to Britain’s economy this year.
