Yes. Nothing but self serving parasites. The French had the right idea on how to deal with Royalty. If they genuinely bring in anything remotely like 2 billion then why pay them anything and fund their security? Seems like they can fund this themselves quite easily so let them. It baffles me there is still grown men defending such a disgusting organisation.

They're even including revenue from TV shows that have historic RF members in it. Like we have to have a Monarchy today to make a historic series like The Crown. So thats 150 million a year you can take off that list right away.

I thought we agreed that was a rather made up figure though? And looking at the statistics for the French v English Palace visitors indicates that this 'independent study' is a load of BS. People will come and have a nosey regardless. The floodgates might even open if the RF was turfed out and the public had more access. You know, like Versailles.

Its not like you actually get to see the Queen and get a selfie with her is it? Im sure the Castles and Palaces would get as much visitors regardless if the RF existed or not. Just like in France. Ive long since lost any faith in the term independent consultancy as well.

I can imagine William doing that. Perhaps the line in the sand was the outcome of Andrews Lawyers attempts to get the case thrown out. Now thats failed they've cut their ties. Im a bit surprised at the severity of the ostracisation though. Perhaps the RF wanted to use Andrew as a warning for Harry as well? Start towing the line or you'll get the same treatment.

They seem like reliable Engines. Ive never had an issue with them but yes, spares seem a little more tricky that a Honda or Briggs.

I'll drop them an email. Ive already looked on their website and they seem to just have smaller single cylinder engine mufflers. I might be better off just ordering new from the US unless someone has a used one for sale.

What timbers are a sod to mill when not fresh felled ?

I had some 28” DF on my Bandsaw it had also been down a while. Was next to impossible to mill straight. Dulling bands real fast as well. I ended up just giving it back to the customer. I’m always milling or resawing seasoned/semi-seasoned Oak with no issues. -

At Would be interested in other views as well. I can’t see it being much of an issue really. Timber frames are generally made from green oak and don’t move much. Granted they’re 6”+.
