  1. Id be interested if this was the case.
  2. Add Solar Panels and a Deep Cycle battery?
  3. Its in the original box with the clip and metal wrap. And a bunch of cable ties as it was a bugger to get all 7 secured neatly without them. Ive just used Parcel2go and its shipping via Parcelfarce. Who charges more for shipping if I use pallet wrap?
  4. I was burning through a blade in 5 hours with dirty logs.
  5. Cheers. I must have over 15 blades. Sending 7 to be sharpened, have three new ready to rock and a bunch of Bacho blades that are pish, but sharp. Ive a couple of jobs on next week. Oak and Elm and I doubt 3 will do me.
  6. Another interesting point is taking currency over-sea's. You have to declare over a certain amount, yet you can be dripping in gold and platinum without so much as a raised eyebrow. Good to keep in mind for the zombie apocalypse we're facing.
  7. Metals has always been the safe haven when the markets are volatile. We're conditioned to think they hold no intrinsic value yet every nation on earth holds vast reserves. When your currency hits hyper inflation you're left with toilet paper (which these days might not be a bad thing) Hold Gold, Platinum, Palladium or Silver etc then you're protected. When I was born my Granddad put £500 in a bank account for me. When I got the cash it was under £1000 If he bought Gold instead he'd have got nearly 4oz of the shiny. (Gold was about £130 an oz) At todays rate Id have over £4000. Gold is a store of wealth. Hang on to it if you can. Sell the cat or something.
  8. Awesome! Good to know as I have a few stems of it now, and a few more to come down.
  9. I mean is getting your blades sharpened. Do you get them back quite fast?
  10. Cheers. Is it a fast turn around?
  11. I need to return some Ripper Blades for sharpening. Does anyone know the return address to use?
  12. I wanted it as I only get to borrow the Telihandler once in a while. But now all my big logs are up on the Deck. And as the ground slopes down toward where the mill will sit the rear of the deck is quite low to the ground so lifting up the logs I have stacked behind will be a doddle.
  13. Any use for Cladding? I see back in the 1500's to the 1700's Scotland was importing Scots Pine from Norway for Exterior Cladding. Id potentially go the shou sugi ban route for preserving if it was viable on Scots Pine?
  14. Keeps the Pigeon poo off.
  15. Got the Log Deck positioned last night and loaded up today. Full day on the Telihandler shifting logs around. Looks much tidier now though. On another note I’ve got a couple of Standing dead Scots Pine. Would I be better off using the timber for milling or firewood if it’s not rotten?
  16. Man! That should have been Milled. What a waste.
  17. Im Voluntary Class 2. Lots to write off when self employed, as Im sure you're well aware. 'Profits' can be very low if you have a good accountant. No such perks or loop holes for PAYE.
  18. What about little bundles of Kindling wrapped in Hemp String?
  19. When I was P.A.Y.E I was having to pay in over £3000 a year in N.I. I now pay £2.60 a week. In my eyes its only right that PAYE are looked after, they get shafted every which way normally.
  20. Good to know. I have one on my phone, it will be handy for ........ reasons.
