  1. And, there's something wrong with that?..
  2. If I ever meet him, I'll be sure to recommend a stihl strimmer for tidying up round those wheels on his brand new shed..
  3. Best labour leader of all time.. he made three mistakes in my eyes. One, listening to Bill Clinton about getting on Bush's shirt tails. Two, should of demanded a post war strategy from Bush on Iraq, and three, should never of resigned as leader.. Might of sacked Gordon Brown as well as a bonus.. that man was next to useless as a leader.. not bad as a chancellor though.. Now if Blair would of listened to me, we wouldn't be were we are today.. in a bit of a mess...
  4. Less is more springs to mind...
  5. That sheep looks like its afraid of something!!!.. Is that Lamb your's Mull?..
  6. Now that was funny Billhook, that was mighty funny.. He wondered about Sally's front porch as he wrote down those lines.. No I didn't...
  7. There was field adjoining our smallholding, well it was part of our smallholding, sold to the gypsies for which they were forever grateful.. Soon enough there was a caravan park on it, but some years later they lost their appeal and they left an sold up.. The field was bought by my sister for her horses, pretty soon the site was turned into a stable yard, with adjoining field.. and soon after her son decided it would make a perfect site to do his wheeling and dealing, selling his scrap, or second hand cars.. Looked like a scrapyard more than a stable yard.. the council came down, complained and made him change his ways.. Which he did For a time anyways... He gets a bit of grief here and there but mostly he just plows on regardless, I don't know how he does it.. I think the councils given up on him, as his car business has grown, with even more cars on site, he does tidy up here and there.. but I don't think he gets much grief from the council no more.. The moral of the story is, buy your patch of land, and do what you want, the council will give up before you do if your determined.. Least ways it seems that way to me..
  8. I've a transit drop side myself, but not to worried about someone, "getting in".. given the state its in, they'd more than likely spend half hr tidying it up as nick whats in it..
  9. Oh that, I did read a piece about that this morning, "we'll go into Syria if America wants us to".. which is odd seein as it wasn't to long ago he was saying we should leave Assad to it... Funny how once in government he changes his tune on these things.. Saudi dangling baubles in front of his eyes.. Or perhaps a threat, give us Syria or we'll cut oil production to the bone?.. those jets we just ordered we might delay buying.. Perhaps a few threats of our own, leave the Syrians to it or we'll take a look at mending fences with Iran. which is what we should of done a long time ago..
  10. I don't watch the news, I watch commentary on the news on Utube.. I do read google news, in that regards his sister might run as a Lib Dem, and Boris called Corbyn a Mugwump at some point, can't say I see that as worthy of getting any attention..
  11. Can't say I've seen much coverage of him, whats he bin up to then?..
  12. [ame] [/ame] :thumbup1:
  13. you might want to contact this fella.. seems to know his stuff when it comes to Yetis.. [ame] [/ame]
  14. I rather fancy myself as Maximus... if we're goin down that road that is!!..
  15. Love to come to the Arb show fella but unfortunately I'm busy catching up with odd jobs that need doing... maybe next year I might make the effort, maybe not!!, depends how far away it is.. yes, a chit chat over a cup of tea sounds lovely.. be nice to bump into a couple of people from arbtalk, I've grown quite found of one or two em..
  16. The scumbag is someone making a fella who didn't know any different take em back 200 yards just to stick the knife in... If it was me, I'd maybe take em back if I was asked politely, but if If some idiot demanded I take em back.. I'd be weighing up which side of his jaw he was going to get whacked on...
  17. Well catchin the fella is one thing, makin the poor sod take em all the way back is just petty.. and, if I had logs lying around and someone took on the mistaken assumption they were just lying around doin nothin but rotten down, I'd just explain the situation and ask the fella to leave em... more than likely tell him he could have the ones he's loaded seeing as it wasn't obvious they were mine, seeing as I hadn't clearly marked em out as not to be taken... lets have it right. they're just a boot full of old logs.. its not like you caught the fella brakin in a shed...
  18. If the logs are lying around and have been for a number of years, and access isn't to bad, I'd just chance it and take em.. You've searched for the ownership of the land, what more can you do?..and I take it there isn't a sign saying to keep off the logs.. PS, if you do happen to get a few logs, and you're stopped on the way out, and the owner wants you to take em back to the exact spot you picked em up from.. `be prepared to shove them up the fella's arse..
  19. Errm now to the Sun.. Mrs May is working on a hit list of Cabinet members she plans to ditch or move. Justice Secretary Liz Truss and Communities Secretary Sajid Javid are in the firing line, according to well-placed sources. A landslide victory on June 8 could sweep away bigger beasts — astonishingly, even Boris Johnson. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3392167/mps-fear-theresa-may-planning-landslide-cabinet-shake-up-if-conservatives-win-big-in-general-election/
  20. Not sure what a pie eater is unless its a reference to the good people of Wigan. And I'm not one of them... Anyway's, I posted up the winning formula to win an election, unlike your infantile rant... have you anything of interest to add to the discussion..?..
  21. Well, thats told him..
  22. I could do with a bearing press myself, nearside wheel bearing has gone on my transit pickup, been annoying me for a month or so now.. got the new bearing just need to get some enthusiasm to set about on the job..
  23. America puts Europe first in trade deal... EU is ahead of Britain in trade deals, say US officials | Daily Mail Online Trump getting elected is one thing, Trump learning how it works is another. Trump wanted to be President for its own sake, to be a figurehead, to negotiate the odd deal here an there.. in the meanwhile, Trumps team will be doing all the heavy lifting on policy decisions. And they have to work with congress, and you do that by greasing palms.. If they, congress, think a trade deal with Europe would be in America's best interests, and one with Britain seen as an irreverent distraction then a trade with Europe comes first.. Wheres Farage, he said a trade with Britain and America was a priority for Trump.. Give it six months, Both the EU and the US will be closing in on freezing Britain out in an economic pincer movement... Brexit might of just lost some of its shine...
  24. Errrrrr, whats that meant to mean?.. Sloth Perhaps I have these raves all wrong after all, if its true that most everybody just goes for a dance and some good honest fun, then I might be persuaded they're a good thing after all..
