  1. Great to see you guys expanding.I order regularly from yourselves and always receive fantastic service. Best of luck in your business expansion
  2. Erm...no i havent. Ive got weird feet and have real difficulty gettin boots that fit properly.I only got the airstreams because they come in half sizes. We dont have any arb shops near glasgow so its not like i could try on any. We ll see
  3. Get your basic chainsaw tickets cs 31/32 and chipper ticket possibley even trailer liscence too if you can afford it.Spend a while being groundie.Trust me good groundies are hard to get and hard to keep a hold of. I really would advise you to hang off on the climbing, the kit is expensive and you dont even know if you've good the cojones for it. However if your adamant you want too climb then contact a local tree surgeon(reputable helps)ask to come to his next job and watch him climb. Bribe him with coffee, cake and many many fags, ask him-nicely-if he wouldnt mind takin you a wee climb one day in a local park.If hes in a good mood-this is where the many fags comes in-he'll take you a reccie climb, low and slow is the way to go on your first climb. Good luck You'll need it
  4. Thanks for the input guys, much appreciated.
  5. Like the look of these boots, they tick all the boxes. I wear meindl airstreams but i need a change,my toes rub in the warmer months with the swelling. Anyone climb in these boots? Hows the sizing? Are they ok with spikes? Input, opinions and experiences greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance all
  6. #### him, dont work for him again... If he does it once he'll do it again. Ive experienced the same thing. Assossiating with people who are unprofessional could compromise your own reputation. Not worth it ime
  7. Got my own majic beans so dont need the pixie dust... How much for the rockin horse poo..? Per kilo...
  8. Impossible to say without being on site. Contact a reputable local tree surgeon and take it from there
  9. If its as good as you say 250 woyld be pretty good price in my opinion.Great gutsy little saw the 240. Id take it off your hands but i really cant justify another saw..(or so the wife says)
  10. Lala land...think id rather be in the doghouse personally:001_tongue:
  11. If your passionate about it,id say you'll have longevity in the industry.
  12. I wouldnt reduce those i would remove and replant. Shouldnt cost too much to remove those. I wouldnt give you a price as i work in Scotland and the pricing difference between us and down south is substantial.
  13. I dunno about the cs38/39 just yet,id say better getting a trailer ticket and a chipper ticket.I came into climbing in my late 30's,glad i did, although some days i love it some i hate it(climbing a slimey sycamore on a pissin wet cold day is bloody awful) some days when its a crisp spring/autumn day and the suns out its fantastic. Whatever you chose to do mate good luck
  14. 2nd that...dont think ive ever been comfortable up a tree. I still go out and do it most days though. As for the tree, its up to you mate,if the cash is there for a mewp then thats the way to go
  15. For what ive seen the efco's gonna be over 400 notes...pretty pricey conscidering the echo 2511's about 350quid.
  16. Maybe time to knock this thread on the head... Its getting out of hand now.
  17. Try and get a husky bar for that 135,the oregon bars arent great, husky bars not great either but better than the oregon
  18. Oh ok... no offence taken just didnt get it.
  19. Yip but as i say i like countering his claims.
  20. Some will, but it wont ever stop me challenging others who i perceive to be wrong, perhaps if more did challenge his drivel it would only be resigned to the halfwits he preaches his hate too.
  21. I like winding him up,i know i ll never change his mind but others who read this thread might be challenged to think differently because of my input.
