  1. Would coke (cola not powder!) work? It cleans up old vehicle parts brilliantly.
  2. Something along the lines of; "This quote is based on our visual evaluation & does not include additional labour or materials which may be required should unforeseen problems arise after the work has started. This may include but is not limited to embedded objects, such as metal or stone/concrete."
  3. I use movie maker for editing the pics from my headcam. When it comes to saving them there are 4 options: youtube, high definition display, computer & email. The highest resolution is hd display at 1440 x 1080. Personally I don't see any reason to go higher than the youtube setting at 640 x 480.Some of my vids can be seen here.
  4. Did you remember to take the paper padding out?

  10. You can get cameras that remote stream so even if they see & break the cameras, their actions have been recorded.Fit them in or outside. A couple of wheel clamps would act as a possible deterrent/slow them down. Also fit an alarm that rings or texes your mobile.Put notices on the doors informing them of the alarm & cameras. Last resort fit an electric fencer to the container!
  11. Good job Saints are playing away.Big fire at Sixfields with wind blowing black smoke over Franklin Gardens.
  12. With the lack of power steering, you won't need to worry about a heater.
  13. This one seems to have the same 'triangular' shaped wing section. Stenocorus meridianus
  14. Could it be a Click Beetle? Athous haemorrhoidalis There's piles of them about!
  15. Here you are guys, buy your lady a gift for Christmas.
  16. If I owned a chainsaw & it were my tree,I'd probably do something like this,
  17. [ame] [/ame]
  18. I've been experimenting with natural dyes for leather recently. A mix of white vinegar & shredded steel wool left to stand for a week or two turns leather & some woods black. Perhaps a weaker solution would darken it to the required tint or maybe just try the vinegar on its own. There's also the old favourite of document forgers.....tea! Then use beeswax to finish.
  19. I suspected that to be the case.It was just that the photo was associated with those names but I couldn't access the page to see them.
  20. Searching google using that picture & that name comes up with a Lance Basco & Jasper Basco on Facebook.I don't have a facebook account so can't see any more info about them. https://www.facebook.com/lance.basco.524 https://www.facebook.com/people/Jasper-Basco/100001360821663
  21. I hadn't realised we'd met.
  22. I used to have a fan heater in the engine compartment & interior of my camper. It was on a timer & would come on every couple of hours through the night or I could switch it to manual an hour before I needed to use it.
  23. Try dunking a Penguin (biscuit not bird!).Bite the ends off, dunk one end & suck tea up through other end like a straw.
  24. I posted a link on this thread, not sure if it's what you need.
