Beautiful day today, few bits and bobs at the same property. 1st job a ‘roundover’ reduction on a hornbeam performed by yours truly. 2nd, a repollard of a lime that I first did 5 years ago, performed by an increasingly competent young fella in my employ.

Asian hornets and mosquitos are our summer companions. Good luck, don’t take offence, we’re only having a laugh (well most of us) I know @5thelement has done a fair bit of ponticum clearance. Put up some photos of before and after, should be interesting. -

Fantastic opportunity to be involved in the resurrection of ancient temperate rainforests, basically it’s like working in Jurassic Park (without the velociraptors) Spend years on you hands and knees in the pissing rain, you won’t be eaten by the velociraptors but more slowly by midges cutting rhodies for buttons. -
Do you think there will be any disadvantages. You’re going to need more hydraulic power to turn the wheels perhaps? Raising the COG?
