They couldn’t start it till mid Jan. I’m hoping to fly my extremely handy brother over to do it between Xmas and new year.

New Transit arrived. Got a quote for €5k for an arb body. Problem is they want it for 3 weeks. So I’m exploring other options.

It’s all bollocks isn’t it? Some buzzword that companies can throw out there to get us to part with money. Like Pride, Halloween, Valentines and other assorted nonsense, they won’t be happy till every week it’s ‘buy something for this or you’re a Scrooge’ week. They’ll be trying to dump thanksgiving on us next.

I bought one. To be fair, Redwood went above and beyond to resolve the issues ignored by the French suppliers. But it was a happy day when I saw it disappear down the drive after selling it.

On my 485 the gap is 1/2 mm at the vertical anvil end (inside of the flywheel) I think they’re made to have a slightly larger gap the other end of the anvil for some reason.

It doesn’t identify from photos though (unless I’m missing something) So it’s inferior to Picture Mushroom for example.
