  1. So what sort of price?
  2. He wants to do what now?
  3. I like my Stihl combi tool, especially the 4 stroke engine. Tbh I don’t use it that much, but it seems good. Mostly husky saws here so I’m no one brand bigot.
  4. Wordle 1,327 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟨🟨 🟨⬜🟨🟩⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 💅
  5. Around 650 quid including the bearings, give or take.
  6. As ever, photos please.
  7. Now that’s cheap motoring.
  8. Give us a photo please.
  9. I think the cyclists are much less culpable that the recovery truck. Better signage would certainly have helped. Edit, it’s a sort of worst case scenario. He was probably confident of motoriséd traffic stopping. Adrenaline fueled racing cyclists probably never crossed his mind. Its just the sort of monumental balls up I could pull off.
  10. I do tell the groundy oftimes to leave a big branch on the deck in full view, gives the general public an instant understanding what’s going on from the get-go.
  11. Was going to post that, nasty. Cyclists are tricky cos they don’t want to slow down.
  12. Yes, saw that. Its crazy though isn’t it? I can’t see how they could get it wrong. Can’t get my head round it.
  13. If I forget my sandwiches there’s drama, I can tell you that.
  14. Wordle 1,326 6/6 ⬜⬜⬜🟩⬜ ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟩⬜🟩🟩 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟩🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 More patience needed Grasshopper!
  15. I wouldn’t have given it a seconds thought. Just got on and got the job done. As Bill says, many people climb without aerial rescue or if they have, it’s only nominal and you’d die of starvation before they got to you.
  16. Those Chinese skids have started appearing over here in various guises. Not for me, but a brand new tool that can lift 200+kg and put it in a lorry for 4K is going to tempt a lot of peeps, especially looking at the price of the Boxers/Vermeers etc.
  17. Buttering us up to be his little bitch, threatening, then throwing us a bone. I hope Starmer doesn’t fall for this, I’m sure he won’t. Trump is not to be trusted, bullshitter to the core.
  18. I read about that somewhere, they’re totally unashamed as well. Everyone needs a hobby I guess.
  19. Wordle 1,325 3/6 🟨⬜⬜🟨🟨 🟩⬜🟨⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 boom.
  20. Tail outside is sometimes called a ‘cowboy bowline’ across the pond. Its what I use and encourage anyone I’m teaching to use it as I think it’s tidier looking, the loop is cleaner and is visually easier to hook onto stuff.
  21. Madness! But a bit Specials nevertheless, how hard did you have to Beat it before it split? Still it was free so Bad Manners to complain.
  22. Wordle 1,324 4/6 🟩⬜⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟨⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  23. I love thé red acers, plant them wherever I’m living. Its possible that this one is reaching the end of its lifespan. Try the blood/fish stuff, it can work wonders, don’t prune heavily though, except obviously dead wood, that’s not coming back, otherwise it won’t be worth keeping aesthetically, even if it does come back strong.
