  1. My garden, watching sport on TV, walking the dog. Not very rock'n'roll.
  2. It's always a compromise. The day is long, the pay is short. I've had dozens of blokes dragging and chipping over the years, as I've got older I've become more tolerant of their little foibles. I don't suppose I'm a barrel of laughs to work with either. Emptying your bowels fully before work is a bonus. Sounds silly but the last thing I want to hear at 9.30 is "I need a crap"
  3. I get my old transit through the Mot by covering half the radiator to get the engine red hot, and adjusting the throttle linkage so it doesn't rev out. So I guess it's not just me.
  4. I've been a bit busy to catch up with your vids Stihlmadd, good stuff, as usual (18 minutes though!?) listening to you on the vid reminded me of Richard Wright the goalie. Here's a clip.[ame] [/ame]
  5. I know. I say about the second opinion because a landscaper I work for told me a couple of years ago about a shoulder operation he needed and that he needed 3 months off, 2 kids to support etc. anyway he saw another Doc who gave him a couple of injections and said "see how you get on" 2 years later he's still earning. Just saying like.
  6. Ps the deadness in your right arm is a skeleton judging by the avatar.
  7. That's a really good photo truncator.
  8. Take your point, I've had parcels lost in the ether.
  9. I was recently peckish, so at 4 in the afternoon stopped at Mr Patel's, I was unfamiliar with the layout but Mr Patel pointed at the chocolate counter and I settled for a mars bar. There was plenty in stock so I bought it! He took my money and handed me the correct change. I'm pondering a bounty bar next week and I certainly know where I'll be going. Well done Mr Patel!
  10. DHL | Global | English Surely these are the real heroes!
  11. Second pic, the regrowth is mostly on the southern aspect.
  12. Something I noticed on a couple of trees here. Some, very badly affected trees, have thrown out a second flush of growth. I noticed this particular tree a couple of weeks ago with very small delicate new growth appearing, just took these on the phone. Is this abnormal?
  13. Best thing about my LR was the winch, remorseless.
  14. I agree Joe, might as well hat rack it. (Nice shape though John)
  15. I don't like Land Rovers, but that's quite nice.
  16. Unfinished project = stupid money pit.
  17. I have some new stuff, and some old stuff. New is better, old is cheaper. I don't know what else to say really!
  18. Only because it makes them difficult to start. I deliberately run the bigger ones out if I'm not going to use them for a while, for storage.
  19. Gotta love that performance by Japan, sod the draw, we wanna win!
  20. Pathetic stereotyping. I like football and rugby, as do many others.
  21. Yes Carlos, we dismantled one at the rear on purpose, One at the front was also dismantled a bit, not on purpose though!
