  1. I noticed that, good idea, even my three way clip gets bark and crud jammed in and Gets sticky. Or perhaps more worryingly negates the three way action and will become a "one way snap"
  2. Took this yesterday, always wonder if the first arrivals are thinking "what the hell am I doing here this early?"
  3. Saw one a few days earlier, not surprising really I'm 1000 km or so south of you.
  4. Yes, crank seals as well, I had similar problems with the last of my many 200s, never did resolve it, ended up spending half the price of a new saw without sorting it out. Check your clutch springs as well, just in case.
  5. I know, talk is cheap, your experiences aren't selling it too well so far though.
  6. I only watched a bit where he showed all his shiny clunky things and I thought "gear junkie prat" Then he set off up the tree and I changed my mind pretty quickly!
  7. Joking aside it is a good idea, that orange can get lost in some autumn colours, I noticed on the helicopter logging thread that Reg puts pink ribbon on the trees to be lifted.
  8. Never prevented you opining on many political situations this side of the pond Ted.
  9. New EU standard for PPE Forestry: from high visibility orange to bright pink | STIHL Blog Here's an April the 1st thing Stihl put out this morning. It's actually not a bad idea.
  10. Thanks for the review. Most informative.

  12. If India lose this because of two no balls.......
  13. Windies starting to fight back, crowd nervous.
  14. Yes should split ok, maybe the OP is from the US. Plane is called sycamore there.
  15. Very good, that battery Husky is looking more like a pro tool and less of a gimmick than I thought. Good rigging solutions. Thanks for posting.
  16. How strange, I was watching "Sorry" this morning. I always liked him.
  17. Another thing I've just noticed,, when I'm reprimanding my dog I use an Irish accent like my Father's, but when I'm talking normally to her I use a comedy Indian accent like Peter Sellars.
  18. As far as sycamores go, that's a big one, nice job and pics.
  19. So my back seems to be on the mend, England won the toss and are bowling first. Chiropractor appointment at 6pm our time.... Dammit!

I have found that as a tree surgeon you usually get two sorts, straight as a die regrowth which is easy to cut/split for a woodburner, or oversize half rotten pollard heads/trunks which aren't worth the effort to process.

I burn it, it's ok, not sure I'd buy it but I wouldn't throw it on the rubbish pile (pine, pop etc)
