Good move, nice to have it back. I'll tell you what's always puzzled me. The willingness of celebs these days to throw their weight behind a political party. I'm a big fan of Danny Baker, love his radio show, follow him on twitter blah blah.. so he's doing a vote Labour thing on twitter ATM and I think to myself "do you really think I'm going to alter (or not) my vote because some mildly amusing fellow on the wireless tells me to? If anything (see Russell Brand) it has the opposite effect.

You're right there, The yanks, as a rule, place more store in being able to say what you think. Not saying it's right or wrong.

It's a tricky one, when I started the thread I thought it was a way of pulling all the various argument threads into one. It seems odd that when we are experiencing extraordinary events, we can't discuss them, even if it just goes round and round. Personally I think banning a few folks would have done the job. As for the free speech thing...

Been a real downturn in the numbers here over the last few years. We used to get hobby hawks follow them up from Africa, you could watch them hunting the swallows in the village. Sadly haven't seen a hobby in a while now.
