  1. Tree1682 not having a lot of luck with his inside information on various businesses status lately is he?:) Tbf I had seen some things on FB to that effect (Jensen were in admin) but you know how the rumour mill works.
  2. I have a few oldies, a husky 288 which is pretty poky to be fair, an 066 which I sold a few years back, which still annoys me. I had a Stihl 076 100cc, sounded great but a bit slow in the cut truth be told.
  3. Wordle 1,634 3/6 ⬜⬜🟩🟨⬜ 🟨⬜🟩🟨🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Probably no more than thirty seconds from beginning to end. It be like that sometimes.
  4. Dry today, got some fairly routine reductions/topping to do. Junior climber making big strides daily in moving to ‘climber’ status. Have a good Tuesday.
  5. I buy a new wet weather jacket most years, this year I got a Treeland chasse (hunt) type one, around a €100 and chasse stuff is usually pretty robust. It’s always a compromise between staying dry from the rain and moving freely and not being soaked in sweat. I’m not climbing in the pissing rain, and if it’s forecast all day I’m on the sofa watching Everyone Loves Raymond or Frasier. If I was climbing up and down a railway embankment pulling gorse to a chipper I’d probably take more effort in choosing.
  6. No, I don’t see an issue getting two stroke chainsaws in the near to medium future.
  7. Happy days Stephen! Monday morning, here we go, dry at least.. Grind it out lads.
  8. Wordle 1,633 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  9. I’ll get through a wheelbarrow to a wheelbarrow and a half of wood per day, if we are here all day and it’s cold. Obviously the wood is free, but we have to put the time in splitting and stacking etc. plus the work of cleaning, sweeping, fetching the wood in the house. Probably a reversible heat pump would make more sense, cleaner, can put it on a timer, can cool the house in summer as well as heat it in winter. Do love the heat of a burner though, we’ll keep one till we leave this house in a few years.
  10. Poor little fellers.
  11. Yes, it’s pretty quick, quicker than mine certainly.
  12. Apparently.
  13. Thats a shame, I’m a big fan of ferrets, hate to see them mistreated or abandoned.
  14. My BiL bought himself a hybrid Ranger. He Carlos Fandangoed his up a bit with wheel arches and a few bits. I got him to get one of those replacement radiator grills for me as well. I rather like it. Understated.
  15. I’ve kept ferrets, not sure they could take a turkey, but maybe.
  16. Wet, misty but not cold. Not too much to do today, so that’s exactly what I’ll be doing.
  17. Wordle 1,632 4/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟨⬜⬜⬜🟩 🟨⬜🟨⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  18. Yeah, you’re right, you weren’t being that word, lazy posting on my part.
  19. Ahh, that makes sense. Still think the game should have been played mind.
  20. You’re being facetious I know. However this modern fashion for marking and mourning and lamenting every single thing is ridiculous. It started with the death of Lady Di, since then the stiff upper lip has crumbled.
  21. Saw that. I cannot understand why they didn’t play the game tbh. 25 thousand people or so made the effort to get there, plus players and officials. Someone died in the stands, people die all the time. What purpose does abandoning the match serve?
  22. 12.30 kick off I see, wondered why the early start.
  23. Wordle 1,631 4/6 ⬜⬜🟩🟩🟩 ⬜🟨🟩🟩🟩 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Wasted a good start.
  24. Up watching the Aussies flaying the ball around the park. Fire lit, trying to warm the house up a bit. Bloody stiff today, and not in a good way, climbing took it out of me yesterday.
