1. Second outing today and the dollie performed admirably again! worked all day on some big chunky oaks. (chunky for a 42cc saw!) I did notice that it doesn't much like being nearly empty, seems to cough and splutter when there gets to be less than 5th of a tank. Might just be running in however,
2. Get Feedback for Your Website - Criticue.com Can be quite useful, submit a review for one site, and get a review for your own. Be prepared for a few numptys in the mix though...
3. funnily enough I was looking at this myself last night, found a website which tells you number one box office movies the day you were born too. They were also helpful enough to tell me the song to which I was likely to have been conceived to...
4. Keep going buddy! Im a self taught wordpress user and my site is FAR from perfect but I keep adding new things and changing little bits everyday, Google has all the answers you need if you have the time to look through the guff to find it.
5. Let the man work, he uses words that make me think he knows what hes talking about! Thanks Prota
6. :thumbup:Any feedback for me prota?
7. Hi, no not yet, I'm leaving it stock for a while, until i feel the need for more power! BTW do you know if the embossed lines on the recoil cover are supposed to be felling lines? they don't seem to be quite at 90 degrees to the bar. Then again I have been wrong before
8. I'm still early on in my experience with the Dolmar ps420sc, took a little 35cm diameter cherry down with it on Thursday. Its only a 42cc saw and still being run in, but even right up to the dogs on a 16inch guidebar, it never missed a beat, didnt hesitate once.
9. Maybe spammers? I'm having problems myself at the moment with floating share buttons and daroradar messing up my stats
10. Thats the price I took Life is easy with google translate to help you navigate around german amazon!

Hi Noel,

I got it from amazon.de, as you suggested! I haven't started it up yet, but I'm lucky that I have a Dolmar dealer close by if needed, that being said they couldn't touch the price that I paid,

13. NPTC Qualifications are not really recognised here in France. However strictly speaking no qualifications are NEEDED at all as its an unregulated industry. Expect paperwork and bureaucracy at every turn. All that being said, I am trying hard to set myself up here, and its a great place to be
14. Thanks to extensive online research and the power of Arbtalk, today I took delivery of my new saw. So far the build quality looks amazing for the money. Thanks to the members on here who already familiar with Dolmar for their help. Cant wait to get it run-in properly, full review to follow!

17. I must say this thread has caused me to lose it several times now, particular highlights include 'lawn sausages' and 'carpet bombed by st bernards' I never did have a sophisticated sense of humour.....

20. My new website has just gone up, although not completely finished i'm looking for constructive criticism. All made by own fair hands. TLB Services Elagage |
21. Thanks for all the help. looking for a good all rounder, since it will be my only saw to start with. Looks pretty impressive for the money, magnesium case, double bar studs and none of this quick tension rubbish. If anyone has any ideas of other saws that offer better pound for pound performance and build quality, I would love to hear them.
22. Hahaha I didnt save the cash to live the dream in sunny Brittany by spending money willy nilly, several people have commented that I should have been a yorkshireman with my attitude to money! People rave about Dolmars these days, looks like a good deal to me, as im hoping one day with the expansion of the business empire it will be relegated to a back up saw.
23. Im looking for a fairly cheap all round saw to get me started, something which will earn me enough money to buy an upgrade and eventually become a back-up saw. I know Makita and Dolmar are more or less the same saw, but are these two Identical? as there seems to be a big difference in price. 24. Can I just make the point to all the UKIP supporting, immigrants are to blame for everything, vocal voices on this thread... You are nothing more than the winner of a genetic lottery, you have achieved nothing extraordinary by being born to British parents, it was not your skill or superior intelligence that allowed you to live in a first world country with all the benefits that this brings, And yet a lot of you have the nerve to bang on about others having a 'sense of entitlement'. It really is quite laughable. On a totally unrelated note i'm reminded of a famous quote..... 'Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience'
