  1. C1 is refusing to pay C3 , C1 offered Cash to C3 when he was paid for the job , C3 had no idea C1 was never getting paid for the job .
  2. First contractor got contractor 3 do do the job so contractor 2 did not get the work , as the Client had informed contractor 1 he was not required he would not be able to charge for the work , Contractor 1 then subs the job to contractor 3 stating he is a bit busy to manage the job , contractor 3 is now stuffed as he had no contract with the land owner and contractor 1 was going to pay cash so no paper trail , Contractor 1 is now happy as none of his competitors have been paid for the job ... Contractor 3 is new to the game and has learned a hard lesson ..
  3. Contractor 2 is a customer of mine , i repair his kit , all he is out is half hour quoting for the job
  4. Think i have seen it all now ! Local self proclaimed " Tree Surgeon " quotes for tree removal and as per never turns up to do the job , Land owner gets a new quote from 2nd contractor and job is to be done this week coming , the first contractor is told his services are not required . First contractor hires in a third contractor to remove the trees without consent , Land owner comes home and trees are gone . First contractor contacts Land owner " i have done the job for free " . So as it stands now the first contractor is refusing to pay the third contractor as he claims not to have been paid for the work by the Land owner . Beyond me ?
  5. Nice saw in the hand it just feels right but there are known issues that can affect these saws , i personally owned one with the Hot start fault even with all the mods and software updates just would not start hot . fixed the problem with a bit of trial and error needle lever adjustment and after that it was a cracking saw . like anything you get good and bad ones .
  6. Got a 560xp in today , Sugi pro 18" fitted in September , saw has been hammered in clear fell and blow (owners words) nose rivets are done but the sprocket is still ok , as a comparison his cutting partner is now on Oregon Number 6 in the same time period , pretty good value if you ask me as it outlasted 5 prolites .
  7. There are quite a few cutters using the Sugi Lam bar now , not a bad word about them . good product .
  8. Always collection only , takes a while but at least you can show the buyer how to use the saw or refuse to sell if you feel there going to get hurt with it .
  9. Good cause and well done to your Sister , small donation made and will share on Facebook ,
  10. Aspen 2 has given excellent results in my customers machines , most are infrequent users so Aspen 2 is ideal for long layups . In the States they seem to be able to purchase Ethanol free fuel which would suit Redline better ?
  11. Ethanol and Synth oil are Hygroscopic , great combination .
  12. Agree with you there Barrie , at the end of the day Stihl are not going to push some " average " oil as there top of the range lube then offer 2 years warranty on a pro machine . TBH i think the top end oils are all in the same ball park , some are bound to be slightly better than others that's life .
  13. Tech Tach Dti -20k is what i use , good bit of kit
  14. I am no chemical expert but i think that the rust inhibitors used in Dino oil are not very Bio friendly , Middle of the road Stihl HP Super or LS have given no issues to me or my customers so i will stick with them .
  15. Full time cutters around here are burning 10L fuel a day in there new "fuel" efficient saws ! works out at £1.50 extra a day £1.50 x 5 x 48 = £360 , big chunk to pay for chains ect .
  16. Yes i sell Aspen synth 2 stroke oil to a few customers requiring Bio oil , i see you sell Echo Power blend ,very high ratings from users in the States . From my own observations the Bio Synth oils have yet to sway me due to there inability to stave off rust in standing machines .
  17. Designed to meet all the tough challenges 2-stroke engine oil can encounter Husqvarna HP 2-stroke oil is also formulated to work well with low-quality fuels. The additives are of highest quality and are especially chosen to lessen deposits an the crankcase which can arise from using low-quality fuel. The oil is designed to suit the entire product range of our 2-stroke products – from the smallest trimmer used all day up to the biggest chainsaw used for heavy felling and limbing in extremely hot or cold conditions. Husky HP oil blurb
  18. Two-stroke oil • For best results and performance use HUSQVARNA two-stroke engine oil, which is specially formulated for our air-cooled two-stroke engines. • Never use two-stroke oil intended for water-cooled engines, sometimes referred to as outboard oil (rated TCW). • Never use oil intended for four-stroke engines. • A poor oil quality and/or too high oil/fuel ratio may jeopardise function and decrease the life time of catalytic converters. Mixing ratio 1:50 (2%) with HUSQVARNA two-stroke oil. 1:33 (3%) with oils class JASO FB or ISO EGB formulated for air-cooled, two-stroke engines
  19. Why pay for BIO ? Never had issues with quality 2 stroke oil so why pay a premium , worked on plenty of seized huskys running XP , some could be put down to fuel quality issues but the XP never saved them .
  20. Husqvarna and Stihl state that all there 2 stoke oils are suitable for use in there 2 stroke engines , i personally will not use there top of the range BIO 2 stroke oils , HP Super or LS if i am not running Aspen .
  21. Seen a few issues with chain damage due to worn drive sprocket ,one in last week , owner fitted 560xp with new 18" bar new oregon chain used for 2 mins and the links were burred so bad that they were binding in the rail .
  22. Agreed , prices there charging for some parts is a bit OTT as well .
  23. Getting a few in the door now in that sort of condition , for some reason Kawasaki carbs tend to suffer the worst ! gel found in one after sitting 3 months
  24. Personally i hate the Stihl 4 mix , torque twist and noise , Stihl 2 stroke machines are good but you pay for the gloss with the big brands , Echo, Tanaka , Maruyama , Kaaz are all worth a look
  25. Chap i know in the South said it was i nightmare getting anything out of the ordinary from the dealer ordered in ! He was looking for a full wrap for a Husky .
