  1. I have just part exchanged a Ifor Williams TT105 tipping trailer, alloy ramps, mesh sides etc. Available next week.
  2. I’ve just part exchanged a tidy 2011 GreenMech CS100 14hp and trailer. To be for sale next week
  3. How about a dedicated CS100 trailer!?
  4. Went and viewed this today... Not been started for 5 years, new battery and fired up straight away and after freeing up the seized clutch she moved. Tidy 200tdi conversion in it, just the chassis is a little rotten ? Itll be a labour of love restoration for sure, just need talking into it ?
  5. Our Bowler TomCat... & Defender ?
  6. I messaged Stuart back about this. Replace the 90 degree fuel filter in the tank, most don't know its there... Anvil gap is critical on these as well as blade angle on sharpening.
  7. A zero turn mower will do your needs and be much quicker than a conventional tractor / topper. We are a Bob-Cat zero turn mower dealer and the CRZ 48" is around 5k plus vat for new. 5 years warranty etc We sell loads to small holdings maintaining paddocks, farmers doing around the farms and field edges etc... We have a demo machine that's done 20 odd hours that is subject to some extra discount...!
  8. That looks awesome in black!!
  9. How old is the machine / engine? V1305 or V1505 Kubota? We had an old Entec in last year that was part exchanged with exactly the same symptoms. New rings and bore hone was needed. See if you can determine whether it is over fuelling or breathing / chuffing oil. Wouldn't hurt to do a compression test whatever your issue is. Even if its to know you have a good base engine. Might find that someone has previously given the fuelling a tweak. Or has this started in your ownership?
  10. Awesome manufacture support and dealer backup!
  11. 8k would make a lovely finance deposit ??
  12. We have a 2018 demo unit Arb 150 34hp diesel listed on eBay... We are keen to move it on due to new stock arriving. It has 65 hours on from memory.
  13. Ideal, cheers. Build quality and wet collection is the two points I was looking for opinions on.
  14. Appreciate this is an old thread but any reviews from folk which may of had them for some time now? TIA.
  15. We have our demonstrator 2018 GreenMech Arborist 150 34hp Kubota diesel which has 3 years warranty on and we would let that go for £13,500 ex vat... Just to throw in another option! RRP is over 16k ex vat.
  16. Quad Chip does sound cheap, the QC isn't a direct competitor to the ST6 however.. Is the QC just finished its days work, a couple photos to advertise and you inherit any problems it may or may not have? There is a lot to be said for buying from a reputable dealer with a full service carried out, bearings gone through, sharpened blades etc then backed by a warranty putting piece of mind against your hard earned. We just sold a PX 2011 QC160 with 1550 hours, serviced, a used warranty etc for £8,500 inc vat. If the QC 160 (actually called QC 150) you are referring to is one of the very early first QC's fitted with a Daihatsu diesel engines that were recently for sale rather than the Kubota engined production machines it will be worth less... The customer who bought the QC I mentioned above looked at these prior to coming to us.
  17. If the grinding stone is 90 degree to the chipper blade on the blade grinder = "hollow ground" If the grinding stone is parallel to the chipper blade on the blade grinder = "flat ground" We flat grind.
  18. Doesn't appear to have road lighting?
  19. Not as such broke up, we popped the engine onto the CS100 we had in stock (which had a failed engine) as the CS100 is worth three times more than the GMR. The GMR will sit pretty in our stock until we come across a well priced used 14hp engine. Spending £1,200 on a new short engine unfortunately kills a profitable resale. Don't worry, she'll live again
  20. Nah, just crack the plastic hand nuts and it’s swings down to the operating position. The lower pivot bolts bolts aren’t fitted in those pictures however... They are now.
  21. We have a used GM CS100 14hp for sale... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263584552971
  22. We have a used GM CS100 14hp for sale... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/263584552971
  23. Only the motor which is just two allen key bolts, we cant get our 1/2" torque wrench in with the motor on... But if purchasing a specific torque wrench for TW150 blades at 61nm I would choose 3/8 wrench with a 3/8 driven torx bit so it'll slip down the right hand side of the motor without any trouble. Surely removing the feed roller springs, lifting the motor / feed roller up, finding a piece of material to jam it open is a lot more involved than unbolting the motor itself?! With a mechanical feel and understanding you can pretty much get away without torqueing anything but retightening to factory settings you can be confident its correct
  24. 3/8" one is best on those machines. With a 1/2" one and the torx socket fitted you'll need to remove the feed roller motor as not quite the space. Spray the bolt heads with WD40 and spend plenty of time picking the crud out of it prior trying to undo the bolts. most of the time they come out, we have had a few that need hammer and punch, this is only usually when the person previous has over tightened and not used copper slip. Don't use locktite either
  25. We have a used CS100 that'll be for sale soon... It is a 14hp unit minus an engine. We part exchanged it with a knackered engine, been keeping an eye out for a good used 14/16hp Vanguard engine but they aren't easy to find. At the right money we would be happy to just stick a brand new unit on and price accordingly.
