  2. Not 100% sure on the TimberWolf, but on the GreenMech the manifold is Kubota and the downpipe & silencer is GreenMech. Would assume the TW150 silencer would be TimberWolf ordering specific rather than a Kubota engine dealer. Certainly be armed with engine info (probably V1505) along with chipper serial number

  5. Buy a proper garage tyre machine, we picked one up used for £200 with a wheel balancer out of a local garage. Have changed countless chipper tyres with it. Fit our own van tyres also.

  8. We have a nice GreenMech Quadchip 160 for sale. £7,500 + VAT. Ok it won't perform like an ST6 or TW230 but it has the benefit of a turntable.
  9. There were rumours they had the CS100 drawings in their office. It isn't overly surprising though, it has been in production for 15 years and arguably the bench mark chipper in 4" gravity feed. We have mentioned the CS100 discharge chute to the GM factory, their swivel is a good design.
  10. We have a 2025 EVO 165D in stock for sale, 18 hours on the clock. 2.5 years warranty remaining. It'll be advertised today and looking at £18,500. We export a number of used machines to France and Europe. Got a 2023 EVO 165P going to France in the next week or two once transport is arranged.

  12. We have tried exporting stuff without a COC in the past. It isn't a goer. The only official way is to fit the chipper onto a trailer with COC.
  13. No, its a clear/white plastic 90 degree filter.
  14. There is a 90 degree fuel filter under the fuel tank. You need to remove the fuel tank to change it. Have you replaced this? Most folk don't know it is there... Quite a few petrol engines backfire on over run as they become driven by the drum/flywheel when throttling down. You could take the belts off, run the engine and see if it still happens. On a CS you'll need to refit the belt guard to activate the guard switch.
  15. I have 2x Ford coilpacks mounted on the front of the engine, a blank where the distributor was, crank sensor & trigger wheel on the pulley and the ECU is inside the car.
  16. Sounds like it needs converting to coilpack and ecu! I did my Rover V8 and transformed it.
  17. Sounds like the O rings have failed on the pressure relief valve. Locate your hydraulic valve block with the solenoid coils and remove the PRV. Think its like a 22mm spanner from memory. Also, get a volt meter and check to see if you still have 12v on the forward hirchsmann plug when the rollers are stopping. As others have said, check your drive belts. Both flywheel and hydraulic pump. The hydraulic pump belt on the old TW125 are quite fiddly to tension.
  18. You would only get one roller stopping unless both splines were shot at the same time. Quite common those splines going, largely the reason they moved to replaceable couplings. As you say, can take a bit of finding the first time. Next time you know where to dive into straight away

  23. With a small machine like a TW150, probably better going electric winch like a Warn EVO 8S. We fit loads of them on tracked chippers. You then have the ability to use it to bring timber to the machine plus help in soft ground for tracking. I don't know specifically on a TW150, however most 6" chippers will produce about 15 or so litres per minute from the feed roller hydraulic pump. Pressure isn't that great on engine gear driven hydraulic pumps on the Kubota V1505's as its possible to break the driveline. On the diesel GreenMech's the pressure got dropped to 2,000 psi from memory with gear driven hydraulic pump. I don't foresee how TW would of been able to run any higher pressure without breakage. Whereas belt driven hydraulic pumps can run more like 2800-3000 PSI no problem.
  24. On the forward/reverse hydraulic valve block, usually mounted on the hopper. Should be an easy spot.
  25. EVO 165D has 250kg more metal in it than the TW230. Heavier duty chassis, heavy gauge and wide infeed hopper plus a larger, heavier flywheel. Hydraulic flow valve for the rollers as standard, override of the stop bar, plus electric throttle control.
