  1. Nice, what did you go for and where from?
  2. Certainly get an EVO 205 GreenMech on demo. Kubota power. Good infeed and throughput.
  3. Predator machines were stickered up Laski stump grinders made in CZ. Ben Burgess were the distributor of Predator grinders previously and have now gone direct to the Laski factory.
  4. We've had this a couple of times over the years. Cleaned out fuel tank, filter diesel back into the tank through a water separator filter, replace fuel filter and it still not run quite right. Replace the rubber fuel lines, bleed up and perfect. Whether the cause is drawing a small amount of air in through a perished fuel line or perhaps drawing air in through where the rubber pipes attach to the filter/inline pump/injection pump its hard to know. Either way. replacing fuel hose has cured poor running issues before now. 9/10 times though the problem is fuel filters or crap in the fuel tank. Blowing back down the fuel lines to clear the tank outlet is just shifting your breakdown to another day.
  5. 19th - 21st Sept. Thurs, Fri, Sat.
  6. Rev the machine up with no timber going through, rollers spinning forwards. Drop the throttle down to low revs. Are the rollers still spinning at low revs? Or are they stopping? Get a volt meter. Locate your forward solenoid valve. Check to see if the hirschmann plug is getting voltage. Should have no voltage at low revs and 12v at max revs. The stress control works at adding 12v above a specific rpm to engage rollers and removing voltage below a specific rpm to stop rollers.
  7. Are you going Swinny?
  8. We are now going to be displaying the machine at APF on the GreenMech stand. You are more than welcome to come and give it the once over!
  9. Quite a few inc these. To be honest makes naff all difference to the temperature of the chip. Timber / chip is only in the flywheel chamber for maybe one second before it’s out the chute.
  10. Decals going on.
  11. Yes, they hadn’t been fitted at that point when we tracked it around the yard. Now fitted along with the rear motor plates and decals!
  12. It’s on pretty much all GreenMech chippers. It helps draw heat away from the engine bay and also adds a bit of airflow to the discharge chamber. Patented to GM!

  14. Apart from some safety decals being added this morning, that’s her done.
  15. Think its 80mm new, 60 mm limit?
  16. Ooooo, she’s a runner! IMG_8497.mov
  17. We will be working on the GreenMech stand. And drinking beer.
  18. Controls and operators platform built up. Battery box electrics built up.
  19. Tractors and PTO chippers can sometimes be hard work in dense woodland. Tracked chippers are far superior, more manoeuvrable and doesn't tie up the tractor either. We just happen to have a few tracked chippers for sale also...!
  20. Metal or plastic tank? If it is leaking out the bung make sure the o ring or dowty type washer is fuel resistant. Often many aren't. Maybe a straight forward fix. If it is leaking out of the boss the bung screws into then new tank time.
  21. Definitely looks like the rear stub shaft from the flywheel. Do not use it!
  22. Either give us a call or use our webshop... www.gagroundcare.com
  23. You have two options really. Clean the head up, chuck a head gasket in and see what happens. At best it'll be a cheap fix, at worst it'll be head back off. Or, strip the head down and take it to a machine shop for pressure testing and skim. We sent a 1505 head off for testing and skim recently. The Kubota engine dealer supplied the upper head set as well and believe the bill was just shy of £500 inc vat.
