  1. Check your bearings, if there is any play at all, once up to full speed the forces can allow the blade to touch the anvil at the 0.5mm clearance. We have had this before. The anvil is on slotted holes and GM supply a feeler gauge to set the gap. If the anvil has been moved in to match the blade wear on one side then with the blade turned you may be a little close. We always remove the anvil and clean the underside surfaces prior to setting up to ensure correct assembly. For an "in the field fix" set the gap to 1mm, it should get you chipping. Don't Loctite the blade bolts in either...
  2. Engines will be more expensive no doubt for +25hp as its a more complex crate engine for the manufacture to buy in. -25hp diesel engined chippers shouldn't be any more. Petrol engines are cheap to buy, so there is currently a swing in machinery sales this direction. All of a sudden you can now buy a new, true 6" capacity chipper for 3k less than you could 18 months ago and tell your clients that you're safeguarding against future emissions regulations.
  3. Trailer for CS100 (or similar) still for sale... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264063608056
  4. We have a lovely used CS100 for sale.
  5. Just bought this little stove for our showroom. 100kw output.
  6. TP had a electric chipper at APF. But I don't think it was actually working there due to a battery supplier change / issue. It's said it will do about 2 hours of chipping. Most domestic tree surgeons who hire a chipper for a day from us only usually clock 2 chipping hours on their days work. Electric sure is coming. Most carpenters, electricians, plumbers etc have no issue plugging in and using the customers 240v for their power tools... You could charge the chipper off the car charging point on the customers driveway. In a few years when its the norm....
  7. If anyone is after a trailer to fit a CS100 onto.. We have one on ebay... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264063608056 Oh and a CS100 14hp too... Nice tidy example. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264063576901
  8. We have these ones (but not with the middle stabiliity leg) and they are nice and light. We load zero turn mowers, GreenMech CS100’s into the back of our transit nicely. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Folding-Aluminium-Ramps-X-2-ATV-Quad-Golf-Buggy-Mobility-Scooter-Loading-1000KG/312042670372?epid=4012827461&hash=item48a7314924:g:eUMAAOSwndZaVd-4
  9. Fair play, there is something quite addictive to distance running, whether its the overall achievement when crossing the finish line, I'm not completely sure. I see you are near Manchester, I did the Manchester marathon this year. Amazing crowds! Fell running does fascinate me. Maybe one day!
  10. Haha! 9 hours. 5,500ft of elevation. Carrying full kit... first aid, wet weather kit, gloves, hat, food & water. This was me at the start line Saturday just before 7:30am. Now back to spring marathon training ?
  11. Quite happy to say, the M500 looks a nice machine. Just watched the promo video on the website.
  12. What's the top speed on one of those ?? I ran a 46 mile ultra marathon in Wales last weekend, so there's plenty of power in the pushing haha.
  13. Happy to provide a CS100 18hp and the time for a showdown! I can guarantee I will be quicker over a 100m sprint ?
  14. I have just part exchanged a Ifor Williams TT105 tipping trailer, alloy ramps, mesh sides etc. Available next week.
  15. I’ve just part exchanged a tidy 2011 GreenMech CS100 14hp and trailer. To be for sale next week
  16. How about a dedicated CS100 trailer!?
  17. Went and viewed this today... Not been started for 5 years, new battery and fired up straight away and after freeing up the seized clutch she moved. Tidy 200tdi conversion in it, just the chassis is a little rotten ? Itll be a labour of love restoration for sure, just need talking into it ?
  18. Our Bowler TomCat... & Defender ?
  19. I messaged Stuart back about this. Replace the 90 degree fuel filter in the tank, most don't know its there... Anvil gap is critical on these as well as blade angle on sharpening.
  20. A zero turn mower will do your needs and be much quicker than a conventional tractor / topper. We are a Bob-Cat zero turn mower dealer and the CRZ 48" is around 5k plus vat for new. 5 years warranty etc We sell loads to small holdings maintaining paddocks, farmers doing around the farms and field edges etc... We have a demo machine that's done 20 odd hours that is subject to some extra discount...!
  21. That looks awesome in black!!
  22. How old is the machine / engine? V1305 or V1505 Kubota? We had an old Entec in last year that was part exchanged with exactly the same symptoms. New rings and bore hone was needed. See if you can determine whether it is over fuelling or breathing / chuffing oil. Wouldn't hurt to do a compression test whatever your issue is. Even if its to know you have a good base engine. Might find that someone has previously given the fuelling a tweak. Or has this started in your ownership?
  23. Awesome manufacture support and dealer backup!
  24. 8k would make a lovely finance deposit ??
  25. We have a 2018 demo unit Arb 150 34hp diesel listed on eBay... We are keen to move it on due to new stock arriving. It has 65 hours on from memory.
