  1. You pays your money and take your chance. It's up to you. I would not want to be near one in use
  2. Rather you than me that looks well dodgy. Just wait for the ball bearing to fly off and kill someone!! Unless I'm misunderstanding how it works!!
  3. Have you got a time frame in mind for finishing it or is it just a when its done project ?
  4. That's not good for the price they are. I'm tempted by some £60 ones on Amazon but I think they are too cheap to be any good!!
  5. Maybe you should see the doctor as that sounds bad! Are you a very early riser?
  6. I've got a metabo cordless drill which is good. Better than my old makita and as the other makita stuff dies I'm changing to metabo. No idea in the thicknesser but they are a good brand
  7. It's true that my dad always said to me "you can always make some more money" when I was skint because something broke!!
  8. I'd forgotten about those nematodes I used them once with very poor results maybe just bad luck I guess
  9. The white ones will be chafers and they have just banned the chemicals!! If you put a tarp over the top of the problem area overnight then take off in the morning they tend to rise to the surface and the birds love them!! Old trick from a golf course!
  10. I'd be interested too as I hate a 4 pot 1.5l kubota that I think is running a bit hot. No warning lights but reading just over 200 when working dropping down to 150 or so after slowing down. I'm thinking it may want a fresh thermostat as its on a mower and so runs for long periods in hot weather
  11. Until you run the mower over your foot!! It's happened not to me but I've seen pics of a very near miss of toes!!
  12. Thanks will have a look at those
  13. Hi I'm thinking of getting some of the above but at £270 I'm wondering if anyone has used them and if they are worth it!!
  14. Also are you turning the bolt the right way? It's probably left hand thread?
  15. Have you asked at you local mower dealers? The ones near me have big mower graveyards that you can look round to steal bits off dead mowers for a nominal charge. Worth asking.
  16. Let me know if you get it going 👍
  17. How much do you want for it?
  18. Roughneck do them and they look strong enough
  19. How many millions of Russians immigrants have come here? Genuine question as I've no idea but millions plural is an exaggerated figure Isn't it? Just found this what happened in 2003? http://www.migrationwatchuk.org/statistics-net-migration-statistics/#create-graph If it does not work right I typed in EU immigration British immigration total immigration. Wondering why it spiked in 2003?
  20. He doesn't listen really he's just better at pretending too. Populist politics are not all plain sailing. I got one hope he never comes to power as the country would be truly f*****!

It's not just about the engine though is it. If you buy a decent mower the engine is likely to outlast the rest of the mower these days as engines are reliable on the whole now(on decent machines) I would not put the heavy kaaz on rough ground, wet sodden ground or really small lawns as it would not work right or do it any good
  22. Would it not be better just to put it all through the business insurance together? That way only one policy is taking the hit? Not sure if it works like that

I can't understand why only one mower could be enough when doing grass cutting for a living? What about when it's broken? And that's ignoring the fact that there is no one perfect mower that does everything well
  24. A mate of mine did the online stickers thing for his van. The vinyl was great the end result was rubbish as he made a complete cock up if sticking them on!! If you can stick straight and in the right spot go for it😁
  25. I know what you mean I spent a lot of time picking the company name (rebranding my business) so that I could get a .co.uk address I bought the .land as I thought it was interesting and it was cheap too!
