  1. I only work 6 hour days 3-4 hours at weekends. I do the school run both ends of the day and I'm with them till bedtime. So it's not like I don't see them probably more than most dads see their kids. I see a lot more of them than I saw of my dad!
  2. Days off are overrated! I've not had one in 4 months. But I'm taking 4 days next week as we're taking boys to Alton towers for their birthdays 😁
  3. The Stihl clutch is probably just stuck if it's not been used
  4. The breather is the other pipe that comes out the tank back from the carb.
  5. Have you checked the fuel filter in the tank? Also the breather pipe. Start there if you haven't.
  6. I've done 2 hours with it full throttle this morning as a test on stuff I normally use the Stihl for. 4 lines on it and it was really very good working flat out. It did not feel any more vibey than the Stihl either.
  7. My 85 is ten years old and it's a bit tired but always starts 2nd or 3rd pull.
  8. Is it the shaft or the gear head? Reason I ask is the gear head on my fs85 eat itself earlier in the year. That was an easy replace job. Mind you it was £110 for the new part(genuine though) I wish they still made the 85 and put the anti vibe on it. It would be perfect for the village work as its lighter. but can't really use it as its too vibey.
  9. I've seen the official vibe stuff and in paper it does seem high. However I've also got the Stihl fs410 but wanted a cheaper spare. The vibes in practice feel no different at all. But it is not used full throttle very often at all. It gets used for local villages strimming round lampposts and other street furniture. So it spends most of it time at idle. Put it this way I won't buy another Stihl if it lasts 2 seasons.
  10. Put your prices up don't try and compete with them. It does not work. Aim to win in quality not price. It's been the same around here for years.
  11. Why are you going to be screwed? The rules apply to all don't they? It's the customers who will suffer with price rises
  12. Have a look at the iseki and grillo ride on collectors. The ones with the big plastic bins on the back. They should tick your boxes
  13. I've just been and got one. Quality is not bad at all for (so read good) for £130. I've only picked it up for the pole pruner bit really as I don't want to spend hundreds on one that will get used 3-4 times a year! The hedge cutter may come in handy too as it has the extra extension pole. Worth a punt for the money I think. They must be reasonably confident as it has 3 year warranty even though it's only domestic it's better than Stihl etc give you on most stuff.
  14. That's true enough someone dumped a transit sized tipper load of tyres on our farm drive. We phoned the council to be told it was our problem! Luckily we knew another farmer who wanted some to hold down some plastic covering extra bales of straw he had no storage for do he had them!
  15. Another thought is hydro oil level. If it's low there will be next to no pressure in the system.
  16. I've got no issues paying if everyone does. Problem is some people either turn up at the tip in a cheap car small trailer and risk it or fly tip. What does annoy me is that I can't take my truck on to get rid of my own stuff.
  17. It will be hydro drive. Could be a simple cable needs tightening could be a main pump that's knackered
  18. Main hydro pump. Belts maybe or wheel motors don't know how it works. Could be cables. It could be loads of things. What model is it?
  19. Fly tipping is the first thing that will happen! Which then has to be cleaned up at taxpayers expense. It's been like it here as long as I can remember!
  20. Looks good on mobile. Big question is how much do you charge?

    Euro 2016

Maybe brexit will help make the premier league use home grown players?
  22. Someone will wreck it! Hire machine and operator together
  23. I've bought one it's very powerful and also very heavy! It's fine with the harness but you could not do more than 5 minutes without it!
  24. Not quite like that😂😂😂😂
