  1. Have a look at http://www.vanarama.co.uk I've had 2 pick ups off them. Easy to deal with
  2. I'm thinking of the 40 inch for wide hedge tops. I struggle with the long reach cutters weight wise if I'm honest when hold horizontal. So I'm thinking 40 inch plus my reach will deal with most tops. I've only git 3 hedges that would need the t version I think and I can use what I have for those. Would the r be ok for tops you don't really see?
  3. Thanks both. Not troubled by single sided as I have double sided hs82r. I want them as the blades are longer and are better I think on the longer taller hedges. I have echo single sided at the minute but they are getting old.
  4. Hi I'm after some new cutters I've narrowed it down to either Husqvarna 226HS75S Or Stihl hs87r Has any one used either or both or have any other suggestions? Many thanks Richard
  5. Sounds dodgy to me. Bank transfer or cleared cheque. V5 not so important as you fill your but in and send it away yourself anyway
  6. I'd ask for some ppe! They have no choice but to provide it. And then ld be leaving saws and other kit at home. When they start complaining offer to rent your kit out to them
  7. It does make you wonder why the tories got in again? I wonder what percentage of the non contributors voted leave not really understand what they were voting for.
  8. Hi there where abouts near scotch corner? Also are they just the cage or the cage and intact plastic container?
  9. Toro pro are sold under Toros name. Jacobsen is part of textron as is ransomes. I've got 2 Toro ride on cylinder mowers. Both good machines. But the ransomes parkway I've got beats them both hands down. It cuts both long grass and short grass. By long I mean it will cope with up to 6 inches comfortably. And not leave a horrible mess behind(unless it's wet through) I'd have a ransomes commander(5 gang) if I had room to store it.
  10. The hayter probably had 5 cylinders 4 you can see plus one underneath. Ransomes do the same. These 5 gangs eat the grass at about 8.5 acres an hour. Another choice is a 3 gang which would be more versatile and still do about 5 acres an hour. Toro have started making the big hayters now as they own the brand now I think
  11. That's the stuff I was thinking of!
  12. The Oregon stuff is good but remember not too thick. Try the dual nylium (I think it's called that) it has an inner core and stuff round the outside. The really thick Oregon stuff is great for the jet fit as above said if you use the jet fit you need really good line or you will spend your time changing line instead of strimming !
  13. Wasn't it the pre2008 ones that had head gasket issues?
  14. 2.7 or maybe 3 it will big down on anything thicker IMO
  15. Sounds like you need to adjust the carb screws. Too lean on top end
  16. I mean I'm a fencer, and own a chainsaw, could I call myself a chainsaw operator I'd say yes you can as I don't think there is a legal requirement to have chainsaw tickets?
  17. You need to mention it but it should not make any difference. I'm with nfu and always told them and it's not sent the policy up as far as I know.
  18. Is there even a register he could check them against?

    Trident

I do think it's a bit mad that Scotland (well the SNP anyway) don't want the jobs/money that trident will create? If they are being kept the community should benefit.
  20. I think you've got to be 2 years without a seizure to get a licence? I know it's something along those lines
  21. Fair enough. If you did have "pay" for it though it would presumably make the numbers stack up slightly differently?
  22. Mine are past that stage now 10 and 12. I took 5 years off to be with them from babies. Quiet time coming up as work is always quiet in summer holidays busy for October and November then quiet again until March. Family time is nice but still need to pay bills.
