  3. Sorry, I'm not tracking with you here.... I thought you said Bristol /SWest ??
  4. I'm in the Midlands. S. Bham. I've done these for a few weddings. Silver birch is nice and seems to hold together. You'd have to get them picked up but I'm guessing it's a bit far for you. There are members on here in that area that might be able to help.
  5. Where are you based?
  6. Gonna start back doing tabata classes at the gym and me and the mrs are going to try and eat paleo as much as possible.
  7. NPTC have some as well.
  8. Mines been great. Still in one piece after 18 months. I rarely drop it onto the strop tho'. It only seems to be tricky to start after I let someone else use it. Guess that's down to the autotune.
  9. 90ps is very underpowered for a 3.5T tipper IMO. We've had a fair few of them. Engine is always screaming when full and weighing in at 2.6T unladen they are always full Solid flywheel conversion is a must. Get a good mechanic to check the timing chain and guides are in good nick as they are prone to fail without warning. Sorry if I sound negative but the sad thing about transits is they aren't very good really and finding an alternative isn't easy. When our current one needs replacing I'm going to try a Japanese truck next... They can't be any worse!
  10. We have a transit/timberwolf and a mog/pto chipper and most of our work is domestic urban/suburban, I'll go to the mog 9 times out of 10. More compact, chips quicker, carries more, gets into tighter spots etc. very versatile unit.
  11. Ours is registered AG, but we have an O licence and we run it on white also it gets regular 6 week checks and our drivers have HGV licences. Recently we got stopped and tanks dipped etc.. As soon as they saw we were running on white diesel they were fine and seemed happy with our set up. If they wanted to apply the letter of the law they could probably insist that we register it HGV but as soon as they saw white diesel in it they were satisfied.
  12. Happy Christmas. I have 2x 261's can you work some magic on them? Thanks
  13. Made some great contacts on here. Merry Christmas Arbtalkers.

  18. Honorary welsh perhaps.....
  19. Or misadventure!
  20. It does makes me wonder how our "traditional bobbies" would cope with a Paris style attack using tasers and truncheons.
  21. Some great tips here lads, thanks. Looking forward to seeing how he gets on. Got some big oaks at our place so he will have plenty to get to grips with.
  22. Grew up ( or dragged up ) in the Swansea valleys, they really loved me cos I'm English then lived a lot of my life in Swansea.
  23. Sorry to hear this.... Hope you can get your stuff replaced quick and your work doesn't suffer too much.
  24. I remember watching a documentary on the 10 worst villages in Britain. I think Hirwaun was close to the top. I grew up in the valleys, I remember it was a mixture of very beautiful and really grim. Wife and I live in Warwickshire now and it is as nice as anywhere I have been in the UK
  25. So sorry to hear that the pub isn't there any more..... Was it stolen?
