Ours is registered AG, but we have an O licence and we run it on white also it gets regular 6 week checks and our drivers have HGV licences. Recently we got stopped and tanks dipped etc.. As soon as they saw we were running on white diesel they were fine and seemed happy with our set up. If they wanted to apply the letter of the law they could probably insist that we register it HGV but as soon as they saw white diesel in it they were satisfied.

I remember watching a documentary on the 10 worst villages in Britain. I think Hirwaun was close to the top. I grew up in the valleys, I remember it was a mixture of very beautiful and really grim. Wife and I live in Warwickshire now and it is as nice as anywhere I have been in the UK

Terrible to hear that. You would think that people who work in the service industry would be more aware of the needs of the local community.

I hear that the local council have started using see through bin bags so that the residents can go window shopping. It's saves a lot of money on street cleaning.

Hi all, We have a guy starting work with us who is a qualified abseiling instructor and a rock climber. We would like to get him some practice climbing trees and introducing him to the kit that we use. Does anyone have any experience of this kind of transition? Any advice or thoughts would be great. Thanks

I know plenty of people (personally, sadly) that should never be allowed to possess firearms. Thankfully most of them never will. So apart from hunting, pest control and sports I would be against guns being widely available. I learned to shoot with a 303 and really enjoyed it but for similar reasons to Mr egg I would never get a licence.
