  22. Try putting the Rods in the oven and gently warm them makes a massive difference, you can buy rods for vertical welding and I have used and have to say they are amazing ( Japanese made ) . I only use 2.5 and 3.2 rods for general welding and low hydrogen for digger teeth . Practice is the key ,strike the rod has you would lighting a match stick and if it keeps sticking turn-up the output but the rod end will become useless after a few goes if it keeps sticking so new rod . Also try bending or shaping the rod to make a comfortable position to weld ,you will be amazed at the difference a bent rod can help. You will hear the weld crackle smoothly when you get it right . Ste
  23. If you are using a good quality 2 stroke oil ie Stihl green which has a Fuel stabilizer in then don't panic , I have a Stihl blower set-up for sucking leaves in the winter and it lays idle every year and cranks up first Time. Now its different with 4 stroke lawnmowers having no fuel stabilizer so I run them out . Ste Ps . That's my experience and I run dozens of 2 strokes' without a issue and only ever use one shots .
  24. Has long has the neighbours don't have any washing hung out has they will smell !! LOL I still use it diluted down with used oil/diesel grossly to make it go a wee further. Out of sight ,out of mind . Ste
