  2. I personally don't think you will get tree taken down any cheaper trying to Trade the wood off against the cost of felling , 9 times out of 10 excess will be crap for such a big lump , a lot of expensive gear is required. You may get it cut down cheap and the wood remain on site but they wont cut it in manageable lengths without charging extra and when al the Log fairies have been you will be left with all the big knotty lumps . 15. Don't know what all the fuss is about it's weight , after using a old Dolmar 153 I think the 880 is a walk in the park but then I grew up on a pig farm and use to virtually hand balling pork pigs up the cattle truck by hand when they refused to go for slaughter..... I wonder why that was ! Seriously if you got the work for one then go for it but has said 660/661 a better option which in hind sight I should of opted for . Ste

  21. My 2000 Kobelco sr20 mini digger has been a pig to start lately so I have been inquiring about sourcing new glow plugs, first stop my manual for engine code then the Local Kobelco dealer who said they cannot find any apart from somewhere in Katmandu . Next stop a Yanmar dealer who was very helpful and found a set in the UK For £38 pound each !!!!!. I agreed has I had not tried to remove the old ones has machine in use and did not what to take them out and find new ones don't match . Any way new glow plugs arrive today in Yanmar original parts box with Ngk y103v which I can source on e-bay for £6 each in my home town for heaven's sake . My argument these dealers both said they are old and near obsolete parts and will be expensive but apparently they are common has muck . Should I have a whinge at the dealers for not trying a bit harder and they both had parts strip downs on computers . Total price including deliver was £148 compared to £20 !!! Ste
  22. That is identical to the Balfor ...... Ste
  23. You will be lucky to get a tenner out of some folk and has per normal there will be the green eyed monsters who will say " they have there own business, they are loaded " then there will be parents bragging that they put more in , the idea Jon is a absolute none starter mate. Ste
  24. PTO version is easy and being pto it has the tractor to move it about , the wheels on the Balfor are fairly robust and substantial but then it all depends if you had your Weetabix for breakfast. Ste
