  1. All blowers do that though. I recon the new blowers with the C in the title have a cat in the exhaust and that's why the a flat as a fart, bit like taking the baffles out of a 50 mo ped:)
  2. Hey Mark why not take the exhaust off your old one and try it on the new one, that might work mate.
  3. I will take some pics and put them up tomorrow and part numbers. The old pipe has a longer spout and the one I got off an older machine has a short spout. Maybe they a different inside too.
  4. I will get the number off it later, it has a shorter pipe sticking out.
  5. Mine never mate, I got an as new exhaust off eBay for £6 and what a difference!
  6. Ha,Ha, sorry mate I'm having trouble posting today.
  7. Sorry not carb, exhaust.
  8. On a machine run on aspen that's 3 months old that's not had loads of use?? I really doubt it mate. I recon they restrict the carb or something.
  9. Sorry it's a BG86c
  10. Hi, I have a BG 56c blower, I have had it a few months, I have found it under power, I bought a second hand exhausted off an older blower BG 56 and put that on and it's like a new machine! I guess that the new model has a cat in the exhaust or something. So if your blower is under powered maybe that's why.
  11. I have a 130 crew cab tipper, I toes and carries heavy weights all the time, I have heavy duty double rear springs, gas shocks on it. I have had it for 6 years and in that time I have had a new gearbox and clutch, fuel pump, head gasket, Ecu wiring loom, various steering and suspension bushes and bits. But like I said it is towing and carrying and going off road a lot of the time. The air mass meter only went because I had a tune it box fitted and these cause the airmass meter to break. Since taking it off it's been fine (4 years)
  12. Sure is! I've met a few good lads on Arbtalk and MendipJon is one of them!
  13. Problem is Andy there are no end of firms that will work on those terms so it will never alter. I sent a quote to a local company for some tree work, on my quote the terms are stated, Payment is due upon completion of work. They sent me a work order telling me to go ahead with the work, on the reverse of the work order were there terms and conditions, lo and behold there terms are 30 days! So I'm now waiting for my money. If I didn't except there terms then they would just get someone else.
  14. Ha,Ha, I know, I'm sticking with Timberwolf as they gave me Beer!! I do love my Bandit grinder though!
  15. Get a loan or overdraft, pay your workers, it's not professional to make your workers wait. Maybe for the first job but not a sustainable way. IMO.
  16. Is it under 750kgs?
  17. It seams that you like many of us want the golden goose, there is nothing that will tow like a 4x4, carry loads of logs etc and return decent fuel economy, if there was then we would all be using one.
  18. I have had my Superwinch for 6 years and it's spot on it was the EPI 12.5, well worth the money.
  19. Or to share it.
  20. Why not just pack in and go and work at Asda? If it ain't the fuel costs it's machines breaking, awkward customers and your logs are too expensive brigade. I have considered this many times and you just never know.
  21. Ok, you're new to this fair enough but you need to start now at understanding how to run a business. First work out your running costs, insurance, equipment, fuel. Then your wage and then waste disposal costs. Add them up and put some profit on and it up and there you go. Don't work for cheap as the customer will always expect cheap prices.
  22. Bloody good day silky mate! That's what make this job worth doing, team work!
  23. Ha,Ha, no really good day but I am 6 Stella's in (4%).
  24. You can't win! You either have loads on or nowt on, then they call up and want it done tomorrow! Idiots the lot of em!
  25. Was good crack today silky Paul was in amongst it as usual!
