The top T peices were not very well attached though I like the old one piece handle design but they aren't sold anywhere as handle blanks in the UK would be nice to make some but maybe with the wood grain direction they look abit weak versus the metal D versions?

  9. Well the 545rxt carb settled down and fixed its self somehow with regards to starting without me doing anything different so i never thought it needed to be checked anymore. It was working fine with no issues for a few months since last Nov. Then I noticed a few weeks back the bearings on the gearbox are feeling rough so im not very confident they will last that long & yesterday it started leaking all the fuel out of the carb like this: Just so happens it was the hottest day in 2025 so far yesterday also but was not really that hot..... Also my 550xp suddenly started leaking its chain oil at the same time....which is new...

  11. So whats the advantage of theese gun grip style things over the smaller battery toppers like the battery echo for example? Im not sure the total weight it that much different?

All theese saws imo are more dangerous than a regular chainsaw in some ways in the fact that they are designed for one handed use and the small size & weight may encourage complaceny The above mentioned safety features are relatively irrevelant to its safety imo versus always just being aware of the dangers of the one handed use issue.   22. Some FC booklet used to do guidance as to the going rates but it was a few yrs back?
  23. The USA link gives the sprocket dimensions they seem to be all different. Its the 6 tooth spur 3/8 is what you want I think?.(more torque less speed but with narrower kerf helping speed?) The 7t spur .325 (with .058) is for the 420es in that manual I dont think if you need a new sprocket for a new bar/chain .050 .325 as are you saying you have .058 , & .325 atm? (just the correct bar mount pattern) This stuff confuses me so correct me if wrong....
