Just use a chainsaw or brushcutter with blade if theres brambles or use some loppers near the wire etc to cut stuff free. Old branches etc are nearly always dry enough to burn and once the fire gets going even green freshly cut stuff & wet stuff will burn also.

4 x 6m isnt very big at all to move don't be so lazy imo.... Id start a small fire and drag it from the large pile would be all gone in a fews hrs if its all dry.

Muntjac & roe browsing are not very good if you want the trees to regenerate well.... Maybe it was an old coppice with with some standards from the one picture? -

Tarrifs dropped for now anyway since both Mexico & Canada seem to have bent over for Trump & given in to his demands...a win for Trump? https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2025/02/03/mexico-tariff-retaliation-trump/ Im not sure that it will be very effective in stopping fentanyl, probably just be a waste of money.... Next, will China will back down in a similar fashion? I doubt it....

On the subjest of taxes/VAT and tariffs how about the new UK free ports eco zones im wondering will they actually come to much? I don't think Holyhead Island for example is gonna transform into HongKong....but the hope seems to be they will attract some investments& jobs......

Id cover the top as minimum if it was mine esp the popular which isn't very duarable but your location might be a factor to consider. Leylandi larch pine etc can last well outside, while other conifers esp spruce degrades alot faster 3000mm rain versus 600mm for example.....

I have had a hendon 3 leg adjust one for a few yrs its being fine so far, im not sure what the difference compared to the henchman pro quality wise is. .... & yes 90% of the time there seems to be a slope.

Yes that normally works well. I had a job i had awhile back where the 15ft walled garden had over a foot of soil formed on its top with the addition of a row of cotonaster growing there with the ivy in the loose rumble masonary infill. It was acting like a massive 100ft long raised planter..... So Ivy was growing down from the top plus up from the base of the wall

Hard to offer much advice thats useful without pictures really I thought it might be mildew from the desrciption but its a guess Apple Powdery Mildew (Podosphaera leucotricha) | NIAB WWW.NIAB.COM Iv'e never noticed much serious problems with either aphids or mildew on apple trees didn't realize its such an issue....... Plenty of canker about for many yrs and the last few yrs have also noticed blossom wilt.... I agree not worth spraying

They missed a few There was 100's of Hamas fighters in crisp looking ninja outfits at the hostage handovers. Not sure the peace will last long, as lot of the current goverment, where against it & no plans for whats next....
