  1. Is the site legit seems abit to cheap to be real? Chainsaw is £36! & a strimmer for £24
  2. Sometimes new posts are still very unseasoned so soft. If left in a shed for 6 months etc they season & harden up alot and are less prone to getting mashed up. A crate step up also helps you hit them direct from above so there less chance of damage
  3. The mexicans / latinos were there before the yanks in many states. In the top issues that people cared for inflation and food prices were often mentioned along side migrants. How would removing millions of migrants and trade tarifs effect both? Im not sure if either will actually happen though as Trump has promised?
  4. I think you'd like this throw line bag 🙂
  5. They just seem to work more effectively not sure why maybe its having larger volume of lighter metal also they dont seem to wreck the post tops as bad Over the yrs Ive used/tried all types the steels ones, alu ones, the giant rubber ones, the tubular post drivers with the handles. The alu maul is the best of the bunch imo. I prefer the lighter head weight they come in two weighs 6kg and 7kg Also a milk/beet crate to stand on makes it alot less effort unless you are 7ft tall for standard stock fence posts. As others have already said another key is doing the pilot holes right with a crowbar esp on hard ground as you can check for get past stones etc or make a an adjacent hole if there is a big rock or tree root.
  6. The best mauls are the alu ones Aluminium 6KG Fencing Maul | Kwazar WWW.KWAZAR.CO.UK 6kg aluminium head wooden handled fencing maul available at Kwazar.
  7. His hoovers are still rubbish though?
  8. Makita trimmer only cost £5 for new bearings as they were some generic sized Spherical roller bearings
  9. Terra preta soil in the amazon was basically the idea for it Seems that the science is very complex and the jury is still out on how effective biochar is for the UK to create dark earth from what ive read? Not saying it might not be useful but seems over hyped. Anyway i want a tigercat 6650 just coz it looks scifi https://www.tigercat.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/6050-Carbonator-1.0-1119-web.pdf Tracked mobile bonfire!
  10. IHT is one reason why owned family farms exist as it was factor in the break up the big estates after WW1 I think maybe in past all the clever loop holes for the very wealthly weren't tolerated as they are now though.....
  11. Are thoose wooden boxes for new trees? Even with extra care they don't live forever so least you can do you bit for the future by replacing them etc. Small group copse planting say a dozen trees with a circular fence that can be thinned later also works well as they normally establish alot faster than single trees and less fencing needed
  12. Both 3 and 2 tooth with turned down edges are good I use the oregon 2 tooth one. One thing to note is a bigger blade suits a more powerful machine and they come in different sizes. The smaller diamter thinner ones are less strain on a on a smaller strimmer, but your job sounds a job fo a decent 40c plus machine
  13. I got the pizza(gate) thing but whats the big deal with icecream I thought that was just a meme joke? 🙂
  14. Vehicle miles traveled tax - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG Seem its being introduced already for trucks in various countries etc and in NZ for cars.
  15. Yes sounds like it i haven't got one but it got several long winded postive reviews online. [Review] Wurkkos FC11C – now with 519A and buck driver! BUDGETLIGHTFORUM.COM Wurkkos FC11 – one of the most recommended flashlights in the past four years. And now it got upgraded with a constant...
  16. Think the cheapo aliexpress ones are decent now Wurkkos FC11c £15
  17. There must be some issue with it as if its pressed to much and you either have to clean the plug or pull alot of times & the fuel will comes out through the exhaust and eventually clears Seems to work best if the purge is about 2/3 full. Somtimes it works ok other times it doesn't but is always is being hard to pull over. Anything simple to check?

FS70 look to be imo some shit overpriced home owner quality & the bad vibration & the stupidly tiny fuel tank would piss me off so puts it off any shortlist. Best 30c class machine looks to be maybe the Echo SRM-3021TES.

Tempted with this little strimmer anyone know anything about them ? Pardon our interruption... WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Vibes not to crazy and its light & the husky 545rxt im using atm is is OTT for certain tasks... I have a battery makita strimmer as well but it only does 15mins max on 2 5ah 18v batteries.
  20. Im abit annoyed atm with new-ish husky 545rxt as its being a pig to start versus the stihls ive used. Thought i had its starting quirks dialed with a few pulls then the next time the bugger wont go without alot of pulls on occasion. Seems the line between either not enough priming and flooding is razor fine maybe i got a dodgy one.....
  21. Locally seen some advertised for £195 a cube ash £120 for softwood kiln dried
  22. I have the 18v makita short its better than the cheaper 36v stihl offerering I reckon but i haven't tried the top stihl models. Motor is 520w probably why its better? DUH601 - Hedge Trimmer LXT® WWW.MAKITAUK.COM Product Which long makita do you have there are 2 versions fixed blade with a loop handle or folding without...? Fixed appeals to me more i think but unsure about ergonmics with having a loop handle as hate them on strimmers
  23. Have to disagree as rent is higher as % of most people incomes than its ever being - in recent history in the say last 100yrs most likely? Might be ok in other countries to rent as they have very cheap housing esp in France or Italy etc so not really comparable at all.. Denmark has goverment rent control also? Couldn't find a rent graph with a few mins googling, but house prices mirror rents Doing withot sky TV isn't gonna help much, its just hardluck versus the situation before 2000 as others have said already
  24. Didn't big J have one of theese? 2009 Valtra N92 for sale in Co. Down for £23,500 on DoneDeal WWW.DONEDEAL.CO.UK 2009 Valtra N92 with sprung cab, quicke self levelling loader, electric joystick loader controls overall good condition phone...
  25. Dawgs pissing/shit etc makes any ground really fertile
