  1. Out of interest whats the day rate normal hrs etc or is it piece work..... & when is the season for cutting?
  2. Some kind of fungi...
  3. I had a go with a customers the HLA86 one, I thought it was abit rubbish for a supposedly "pro" machine versus my makita cordless short reach. Lots slower and weaker didn't cut the chunky-ish diameter hornbeam well. (1yrs growth) Id avoid it but I only used it for less than 10mins then went back to using the makita from a ladder. maybe is ok for hedges cut more often not just once a year.... Maybe the HLA135 is better as looks like the top "pro" one? Not sure how they differ apart from bigger the number = better but whats are the actually build differences ?
  4. Russian trenches are being made a way behind the current frontline so they must think they could get that far? https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GU6Kow7WwAAXacO?format=jpg&name=4096x4096
  5. I just looked online ebay has them (non genuine) for under £12, and loads of various other ones selling STIHL MS028 038 048 380 381 OIL PUMP SPUR WHEEL & WORM GEAR 1119 640 3200 WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Fits: STIHL MS028 038 048 380 381 Chainsaw. 1 x Spur Wheel. 1 x Worm Gear. 1 x Oil Pump. Depending on the size of the... Same part for all thoose saw models not sure thats right?
  6. Wrong species of poppy
  7. Big saws for big butts?
  8. Its an older saw series quality is fine but with AV rubber not springs i think. The lastest echos are 40cc and the 70cc ones.
  9. No one bothered or even mentioned about stickers when I did it, I used a makita ea4300, & carried a spare chain & bar also just in case I rocked it or got it pinched. Many were using/faffing about with the various assessors unreliable old junky ms181's or lf lucky maybe a ms211 etc with blunt chains, but not much fun with such crappy saws causing issues & stress, & distracting from the learning...
  10. Id chop this bit off and leave the rest, also some mulch is always good
  11. Just get a 550xp as best vfm I know they are slighlty over the £500 budget but best not quibble over a £100 quid and just get a decent one straight away imo. Husqvarna 550 XP Mark II Petrol Chainsaw (50.1cc) - Radmore & Tucker WWW.RADMORETUCKER.CO.UK Introducing the Husqvarna 550 XP Mark II Chainsaw: Unleash the Power of Precision When it comes to professional-grade... Not any other good choices really as to other brands anymore apart from husky or stihl 550xp are cheaper/better vfm new than stihl & and which is the best brand saw in the 50cc catergory is debatable.... For cs31 15" is ideal
  12. The inherent colour of fuel is dependent upon the refining processes used to produce the blendstocks that go into making a petrol grade. The colour of the blendstocks can vary from Colourless to Yellow depending upon the refinery, the crude and the processes used to create each petrol blendstock.
  13. I buried the sides, It gets 45c in there on a sunny day very rapidly with both door ends open so not always ideal considering say tomatoes optimum temp is 21-27°C. Think it depends on the size how hot it gets mines about 50ft long i think.. Also you need an irrigation system as high temps means - alot of water is needed
  14. Cyslists are like trannys and shave there legs so must all be woke homos or beardy weirdy touring types with carradice bags and sandals. *Actually most modern cyclists are retired dentists or middle managers on £3000 pound bikes who are right wing politcally, which is odd as the rightwing lot hates cyclists. The working class "socialist" ones doing there local 10 miler TT and the old lefty touring ones don't exist much any more.

Grow spuds or other annual crops for a few yrs
  16. Lithuim ones supposedly are best stored at 50%.
  17. So why are the old series better?
  18. Maybe the idea was as the goverment wont stop the boats they will kill the immigrants instead? Basically an attempt at a pogrom
  19. Lefty woke do gooders, playing at making a difference as an excuse for a jolly. Does the same apply to mountain rescue and the RNLI or only the oversea ones?
  20. So I thought Wh(watt hrs) is indicative of runtime not amp hrs? 2x18v 5.0 batteries makes it 180Wh capacity with 1kw motor on the strimmer... 1x 40v x5.0 battery also is 180Wh capacity(well it calcs as 200Wh but there listed as having 180wh) but on a machine that has a 1.5kw motor By but that^ calc it should be the opposite way round with the runtime being 1/3 shorter due to the larger motor?
  21. Whats the "beef" with DART?
  22. Not got one but the 3 echo small 20cc to 30cc 2 stroke strimmers look better than the smaller stihls, & seem to get positive reviews. Id not bother with any bent shaft or loop handle models are they are all shit to use imo. As for a hedge trimmer I can recommmend the makita battery one. Much prefer it to the 2 stroke ones https://www.amazon.co.uk/MakitA-DUH601Z-Li-ion-Brushless-Trimmer/dp/B07P8DHJG7/ref=asc_df_B07P8DHJG7/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=696352102722&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=4167240882021707188&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9180843&hvtargid=pla-763772823794&psc=1&mcid=febf70e6379735b895b23efa292edd5c&th=1&psc=1&gad_source=1 & I think its better than some of the the stihl battery ones ive tried.
  23. Battle of cable street all over again......
  24. My makita hedge cutter a 18v one is excellent, while the DUR369A 18v x2 brushcutter abit of a dissapointment due to short runtime. It works fine, but with two 18v 5.0amp batteries last not much more than 10 min with line cord on meduim rpm setting and about 15min with the blade. Theres a jap guy on youtube uses/tests loads of makita cordless stuff & does loads of strimming. Shows what volume of work the battery kit is capable of. The new 40v system brushcutter he uses alot seems to have alot longer runtime even though its a bigger motor which i don't get.... UR013G - Brush Cutter XGT® WWW.MAKITAUK.COM Product Cost about £1000 with 2 batteries though for 1.5kw.... so not cheap Runtime listed as 53mins in catalogue V 23mins for mine with same capacity batteries....but has a larger KW motor thumb.jpg 園芸商品カタログ ECATALOG.MAKITA.CO.JP 「園芸商品カタログ202404_Z15318-1」
