  1. I would go for a sugi hara bar got mine from fr jones was only about £70 I think will out last a oregon bar and is also a lot lighter as well. Had a 24inch husky bar and it was nose heavy but with the sugi hara it sits level really good bars
  2. I used to drive a case 885xl which I think had a swivel conversation but I did not have the original seat as it was a old stock tractor which had a crane out on it so the original seat had probley rotted
  3. As you know graham I have a agt850 lovely tractor in the proses of garding. I have a 3 ton timber trailer and flail as well

  5. What do you think of the kilworth trailer?? I looked at it but the price put me off a bit really. Yea they get a bounce in quite easily don't they but in the woods they are awesome machines. Took mine up some really steep hills and some clenching side hills

  7. That day I only shifted about 10 ton there was a lot of talking and showing of the machine and all that but depending on how far away the stack is from where the timber is and how easy it is to pick up the timber I can shift round about 20ton a day but would be more if the stack was closer
  8. That's what I run. Runs a lot faster then on 325 and the chain lasts longer
  9. 560/550xp on a 15inch bar all day every day unless there are a lot of big trees then it's on to the 372xp

  11. No, it's the person using it which can be or is dangerous bit like a gun also would it not put the price up as company's would not sell as many??
  12. Small tractor and flail. Done this for a local shoot after the beaters where complaining about having to walk though them.

  14. Nooo I'm not buying got a load to sell my self I was looking in to getting a alstor my self but could not afford it got a alpine and fowarder trailer but still like the idea of a compact fowarder it's just the alpine is a bit more versatile
  15. Looks smart how many days did it take you to extract that amount of timber??
  16. Between £250 and £300 a day with driver and fuel depending on whether it is just grass or whether it more woody stuff to cut and cutting for 8 hours

  21. Other then better seasoning of the wood what other benefits are there from storing fire wood in bundles like that??
