  1. Have you tried machine mart or some where like that if you have one near you??
  2. Other then better seasoning of the wood what other benefits are there from storing fire wood in bundles like that??

  8. Was one of the best things I brought was my winch only a baby one but still got us out of a muddle
  9. The trainer provide the winch when did mine had own high lift wedges. I would go with another training provider but if you want to get wedges I would get two then you can walk them in and they don't take too much of a beating so to speak
  10. Hello all looking for some help. I have been asked to give a price per ton for forwarding out some timber. I know It would depend on the site and all that, what other things should I take it to consideration other then fuel and so on. Will be using a small alpine and 3ton forwarder trailer thanks for your help
  11. I run stihl chains on my huskys and they are that bit longer then the oregon chains but once beaded in you dont have to tighten that often never ran out of adjustment
  12. Was always told that full chisel was for soft wood cutting and semi chisel was for hard wood that's why a lot of the boys in this area run semi chisel because we mainly cut hard woods

  14. I drill mine out. When put a new one in I just put it together and then use it it works well
  15. Think I might have to change when me wooden ones go getting fed up of changing the handles even have two rings on them
  16. What's the price of the plastic shafts compared to the wooden ones???

  19. Used a stihl scratcher blade on a fs400 to clear a load of alder. Made the job a lot easier and a lot quicker and saved my back
