  2. It's a lichen - indicates good air quality. Nothing to worry about.

    Taylor+Francis access

    Hi Paul, Thank you!
  6. Agreed.
  7. Hi, I've just logged into Taylor and Francis for back issues of the Arb Journal. It says I don't have any access at all???? Has anyone else got this problem? I'm fully paid up with the AA so that shouldn't be the problem. If anyone does indeed have access, I could really do with a copy of Volume 34, Issue 3, 2012 please!!!! Hi Adam, can you please either email [email protected] or call my colleague Stephen Hodsman at Head Office on 01242 522152 and he'll look into this. Thanks, n apologies for the problem.. Paul
  8. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, but not too outrageous, then Alnus glutinosa 'Laciniata' or 'Imperialis'.
  9. Maybe.
  10. On a strictly anal basis, if the applicant notifies they want to reduce by whatever, the TO may consider that the works are reasonable, the tree is under good management and therefore a TPO is not expedient. Had the applicant stated they were going to climb a birch in spikes and do the same, and the tree was reasonable/publicly visible, that may have triggered a different response. One could argue that spiking up constitutes wilful damage however I doubt many TO's have the time nor energy to pursue. Definitely not a good advert for the standard we should expect though.
  11. No probs, and exp = exception
  12. Hi Chris, what bit of what I said is different to what you said? (apart from I neglected to include the exp replacement)?
  13. The tpo needs to be varied or a new tpo made. The new tree isn't automatically covered unless the original tree was removed illegally. This means that the tpo is then subject to the objection process.
  14. Looking to bump someone off innit.
  15. Poppy
  16. 6
  17. Or the vallance one
  18. Mine was born 3 weeks before I started. My wife literally wants to kill me now. I haven't been able to do any work on a week day evening since he was born as he has been fully awake until half ten/eleven at night. He's now starting to fall asleep earlier in the evening and so I'm hoping I'll be able to beat out some of the backlog fairly soon. At the moment, it's pretty much weekend only which isn't ideal.
  19. The level 6 is character building even when going to classes!
  20. Still only seen Fomes once outside of Scotland.
  21. I have one of these only crapper.
  22. Bottle of red, some beer, a roast, some techno, reading tree strategies and a couple of dogging sessions.
  23. Don't the FC have a booklet devoted to opm removal?
