  1. Really confuse them by asking for confirmation on how you would go about appealing their 'refusal'.
  2. Great pics!
  3. If matey notified of intent to fell the beech and now it's gone past 6 weeks and no tpo received, get stuck in.
  4. I'm aware (possibly via Richard Nicholson's training day) of a case where TPO's were sent recorded or special delivery. One person signed for it but the other wasn't in. They talked over the garden fence and matey clocked that the letter he had to pick up from post office was a TPO. Then went ahead and nobbled the tree and never picked the tpo up. Tpo not served to him.
  5. There's notice on when an order is considered served buried within the T+CPA. I'll try to find it tomorrow.
  6. 6 weeks from receipt.
  7. When you're 6,500 words into an assignment and you find out that you've got to change the format for the whole thing and remind yourself what critically evaluate means that's when you know you're firmly locked into the L6.
  8. I'm with matey from a few pages ago, sharks are the biggest threat to bracing.
  9. I love birch reductions. Always arty.
  10. How close to ground is lowest part?
  11. Google the relevant conservation area character appraisal and look at the plan. It will most likely show a clear boundary rather than some 3rd hand arbitrary line on some online mapping.
  12. Silver.
  13. A 211 notice does not have to take any particular form so long as it contains certain info (date, who served it, info to identify tree and a spec). Should a planning app indicating trees for removal or incursion into rpa etc be considered a notice of intent therefore having a 6 week consideration date with associated opportunity to serve tpo? Thoughts appreciated please!

Looks interesting but would be interested in seeing behind the scenes.
  15. Let's have some pics of the issue if you will please

    Help

    More detail please.
  17. Yo, if that pic is not autumn/winter, apply to fell.
  18. The layering illustrated here on Fagus sylvatica 'Asplenfolia'. Parent stem long dead yet it lives on. Compaction is a problem here and I had recommended mulching but fell on deaf ears.
  19. We had that same introduction to our kiddy. Hours and hours of relentless crying. The crying is them wanting something. In our case, and after being seen attempting to cope at our SureStart centre, it turned out we were rubbish at winding them and weren't feeding him enough. Overnight change. You can overcome this!
  20. Can't wait for the pics!
  21. Just to redeem myself, and please note that I got lost in a private schools grounds while there were girls playing hockey and I was driving around frantically trying to find a way out as soon as I'd got the pics (tree was roadside but I parked in the school).
  22. 525% not resinaceum. If only there was a delete post button!
  23. As soon as I posted it, I questioned myself despite being confident at the time. I'm up that way again in next few days so will double check.
  24. /waiting to be told it's australe
