  1. also look at wrapping it much cheaper and you can do it your self if your semi good at that sort of thing
  2. I have a movano twin cab tipper and a friend runs a spray shop. I asked how much to get it sprayed if I done the prep work and he wanted £1400 at m8's rates to supply the paint and spray it
  3. why someone doesn't want to do the job them self's is irrelevant! our bath room needs tiling I am more than capable of doing it my self but would just rather pay for it to be done as I cant be bothered
  4. or you could just decline there quote and get some others! I go to a lot of jobs that the owners show me other companies quotes and some are just shocking! we done a council job back in the summer only a day and a half's work for one man bit of a PITA job so priced it accordingly didn't expect to get it as I thought my quote was way over the top (but was the minimum I was willing to do it for) any way ended up getting the job (and several more since from them) worked hard, made good money then found out that another company had quoted way way higher than me and was running round getting all up tite that I had priced it so low! they had the same chance as me and there is no reason what so ever that the quote needed to be more than what I had quoted
  5. most of my work is within a 20 mile radius so would still be looking at £120-£150
  6. I would be at around £120 if burning up there and £150 if taking the brash away that's based on taking them down to ground level but not removing the roots. I would be looking to pin it on to the end of a day on the way home
  7. shouldn't have said that lol tomorrow it will break down now!
  8. I do a lot of fencing and for a long time I had a little ms170 then when it died i replaced it with a Ms211 if the ms211 dies I will be replacing it with another ms211! mine has a 14" bar but when its time to replace it I will be going to a 12" bar as it only gets used for fencing/hedging and small logging. its the most used saw I have and I have a few lol
  9. just got back from one now. went to replace a fence and on arrival got can you just re felt the shed roof while your at it. just told them the price and got on with it
  10. change the tyre profile and everything will be the same including the gearing
  11. if they want to rake it then a flail mower will make it very difficult as it mulches the grass up quite a lot
  12. if you have only had it for 2 weeks I would take it back and tell them its not fit for purpose. then go out and buy a new stihl ms170 they can be had for under £150 now
  13. as long as the new tyres have the same or higher load rating as the originals then it is perfectly legal just putting some on movano at the moment for the same reason
  14. he wants to cut the stump off below ground level NOT dig it out. if they wanted it dug out my quote would be more than £100
  15. funny how everyone has said the same as me.............£100
  16. £2800+vat when the pumps go on them its cheepers scrap it
  17. id say there is about a trailer load there give or take
  18. I didn't ask the question! I answered it! try getting off your high horse for 5 mins!
  19. didn't say what would you charge then?
  20. £100 for the lot
  21. carfull not to OD them with spot-on it can do more harm than good in heavy dosses
  22. not if you don't like husky's its not!
  23. from the title I thought you had problems with an indian DR
  24. a friend of mine had the same problem ended up welding a piece of 4"x2" box section under the bracket with the 3x pin holes. this then gave it clearance
  25. I know fella some of the things we scrap are a real shame but cant keep everything around for ever! anything any good goes on ebay once at scrap price if it don't sell then its scraped
