  10. based on wooden post's we charge £10/ft (£33/m) for 4' high feather edge including capping and £14/ft (£46/m) for 6' feather edge. 4"x4" posts and a post every 6'. if its 9m it would be £297 (so £300 realy) all in for parts and labour
  11. all my gear is stihl but I recently got a echo top handle as part of a job lot been using it quite a lot and I love the thing! looking at getting a new pole pruner in the next couple of months and the echo version is in the running for that now. very underrated saws IMO
  12. txt8600 with the REG
  13. you use the hole plant! bit of a waste rely putting good food in there when there is so much waste that could go through them
  14. you can put pretty much any organic matter through a biodigester some places are even putting dead animals through them on test trials
  15. yes fella but I would only get a 12" or 14" bar (I have 14" on my 211 and will be changing it for a 12" when the time comes)
  16. I have several stihl saws and the one I use the most is my ms211 unless your going to be doing a lot of bigger tree work anything bigger is a waste of time and for hedge reductions you don't want a big saw so I would just spend half your £600 budget on a saw (and spend the other half on a tripod ladder lol)
  17. welded the end of the boom (between the boom and the head stock) back on the merlo when it was destroyed by some fool repeatedly over loading it and it never brock again also on the same machine welded the out put shaft from the gear box back together as a "get us through the weekend" fix and it lasted till the machine was sold 6 months later! god I feel sorry for what ever fool owns it now it was well abused
  18. we cover most of dorset and some areas out of dorset if that's of any interest?
