  2. personaly I would bang it on ebay with an accurate description as spares or repairs I done this with a ms170 and got nearly the price of a new saw! people pay stupid money for broken saws on there and I cant see why? then go and buy a new one
  3. in that case I am very interested
  4. if its not gone by the weekend I will have it
  5. a bear trap! bar hum bug
  6. I don't do it for money I do it for the love of the job! at least that's what some customers seam to think lol

  8. Due to being let down at the last min I am looking for work for the next 4-6weeks. anything considered very experienced at fencing/felling/patios and logging up ex-farmer so can turn my hand to most things pm or call/txt on 07787953106 Thanks Gary
  9. nope!
  10. personaly I think that new is a waste of money unless you have a massive turnover. my first movano I paid £3400 for just under 2 years ago its on a 56 plate and a tipper. in that time I have MOT'd it twice and it dose 30k+ miles/year all in it has had just over £800 spent on it in that time. my seconed movano we have had for just under a year its a 54 plate drop bed that we paid £1700 for it dose 25k+/ year and the only thing it has needed is a pair of tyers. both of these vans have earned there money time and time again
  11. wow! that is awesome!
  12. whats wrong with simply going round nocking on the door and having a chat as a first step?
  13. movano tipper I would go for! with a bit of shopping around you will get an older decent one for just over £2k and they go on for ever (un like transits)
  14. if they do change there mind they will now have to wait till I can fit it in not going to put my self out for them! as for m8's rates I don't normaly do them its one of to options 1. normal price or 2. cost of materials only (eg plumber m8 wanted his drive sorting and I done it at cost in return when my gas boiler packed in he fitted a new one at cost).
  15. They are getting other quotes done this week. forgot to say they wanted the work completed by the middle of next week. when I went to quote for it I asked what there budget was so that I could tell them what could be done within there budget but they wouldn't say. There is also 25x concrete posts and wire to be removed. good luck to them just bugs me a bit is all as they expect me to work for nothing is the jists of it I think
  16. Just got an email saying that I must be taking the piss for a fence quote I done a week ago. Was for a friend of a friend so keeped the price lower (in my eyes anyway) quote was for this.... 4m run from the house to the fence line including a 1.2m wide gate and fittings at 1.8m tall feather edge. 30m run of 1.8m tall feather edge made up of 100mmx100mm wooden posts spaced at 1.8m,150mm gravel board,3xcant rails,25mm over lap on boards and 1.65m tall boards and capping. 10m run of .9m high feather edge with .9m domed "ornamental" trellis on top (to keep the view at the end of the garden). then another 30m run the same as the first side. so in total 62.8m of 1.8m high fence plus a 1.2m gate and 10m of .9m high with trellis on top (total of 74m). long and the short of it is I quoted them £2950 for doing the lot and got told I was taking the piss!
  17. would rather have a wheel barrow rather than a transit! since 2000 they have been nothing but crap
  18. my guess and it is nothing more than a guess! wet with a very early very cold spell before xmass that is short lived turning back wet just after xmass and a late spring
  19. pretty sure its not a magpie nest? they normally all ways have a canopy over the top and only a small opening for them to get in/out
  20. got a 30"bar on my one and it dose just fine in most things! looking at getting a 20 or 25" bar in the near future
  21. movano/master has a good pay load and carrys weight very well! had a cabstar and although is carried a little more weight I hated driving it! only ended up keeping it for a month as I hated it so much
  22. I found the banks to be very un-helpful for starting up!
  23. better half has one and she broke the screen within 10 days and she is carefull with phones! if I had one I think it would last me under a week. good phone but breaks to easy
  24. another one for echo! would rather have an echo than husky
  25. we have a brand new single cab trany tipper on hire with alloy body (the sides are paper thin and would bend in a heart beat) was shocked when I put it on the weight bridge that with 1/4 tank of fuel it was 2.4t! my movano twin cab with rear seats removed is just under 2.2t
