  1. A truer example of "mind over matter - I don't mind & you don't matter" will never be found. This man's mind set can move land mass. Suffice to say - big fan and I strive to match his notches on the totem pole of life. Russ
  2. I predict me not even looking at what's going on in the tournament as it's a prima donna over exposed sport even before the WC. Russ
  3. Just seen Steve Parrish is now on the BT Sport team - Things are looking up! But the two on trackside are total crud - still. Russ
  4. For the record. His dog is one huge - very well groomed German Shepherd that is so "dog". If someone likes dogs properly, they have a distinct points advantage on first impressions when I meet them. Russ
  5. And any online communication can be used as evidence.............. Just a helpful post in you pursuing legal expenses. ;-) Russ
  6. Yeah - good garma to Cal, the way the hand got test wiggled........... Aside from that. Crap commentary all over again........ Heavy sigh. BTW - how does a thread / post akin to this one get linked to a forum that has "Pundit" interest? In anticipation of a fellow mischief maker (that is more IT savvy) getting my vibe....... Russ
  7. Don't be put off by the hype. If you're fit and supple, forget energy drinks (they are full of calories - fatty type) and just eat porridge in the morning and take on fluids all day. Top Tip. Get a Gelert type / metal climbing water bottle that can clip to your harness, then you can laugh at the others who have to come down for a drink. Again - don't be put off by the hype. Unless you are unfit and overweight, it's pretty straight forward. Russ
  8. Thanks for the feedback guys. Russ
  9. Paul Peacock at Treetech, covers your manor and very flexible. Did all my tickets thru him - old school and real. Highly recommended. Russ
  10. I'm looking at the TIMBERWOLF TW18/100G ES as possibly my first chipper. I've looked at the Bandit 490 and the CS 100 but both need trailers. I don't need or want a trailer with my current business plan. I want a chipper that will tow, chip into my pickup and fit into my garage. Looking like the Timberwolf would do the job, and thoughts please guys? Cheers Russ
  11. Classic - and how far is the longest commute to date? Russ
  12. All good advice - to a point. Simple fact is the lawn is a symptom of the soil...... Take core samples, at least 8 inches deep to show how compact the soil may be, how much sub surface thatch, and / or surface thatch may be present. And show the customer.......it then makes them realise how much work may be required. Moss can be got rid off, but it needs you to work backwards on why it's there. Then you can start thinking about all the variables mentioned already and the best time to do it. And then there's the reseeding......... Manage the customers expectations - putting down moss killer (in what ever form) doesn't even start to solve the problem. It's then an annual event to stay on top of. Lawn care = minefield. Russ
  13. Spotted the Schmakos packet on the floor Aspen - you love that dog! Great pics BTW. Russ
  14. Now that IS an Operations Manager. :-) Russ
  15. Pretty much the norm for any aspect of weedkill chemical, but not exactly in line with environmental standards you have as guidelines for safe application......... Russ
  16. Hail today and I was going to put the new barbq together this weekend. Mind you the rocket seeds are sprouting well in the greenhouse........ (Previous owner of a business based on the regular 4 seasons being a factor and well chuffed I sold it!!!!!!) Russ
  17. Wow - Stubbs, don't look at this thread anymore - in case someone blows it. Enjoy fella. Russ
  18. Don't worry Stubbs, the race is really good. Russ
  19. Whatever - it's very poor. Lousy commentary, pre race and currently. Reaches for MUTE button........... Russ
  20. Ah - that one........... Russ
