  1. Agreed, it needs cleaning out during and at the end of the day but it's a short enough job with a brush. Russ
  2. Having used a 200 and seen the press 're 201 my first TP saw purchase was going to be a 150 as Husky v Sthil round here as far as customer service goes means it's Sthil. It's so light on the harness and to date has coped with ad hoc use on a mix of lime, beech and eucalyptus plus a full day on a mix of ash, beech and oak going thru' 8 inch of oak at the end of the day with no worries on a resharpen. Yeah, you'll want more grunt eventually, but I think this is not far away from the point that you'll haul a bigger rear handle up. It will have a cross over where the 540 and 201 will work better, but it is a smallish margin. Russ
  3. Strong running from the Irish forwards, solid game. See Scotland getting the wooden spoon on that performance. Russ
  4. If and when you decide to get PL, it won't hurt to look at Arborisk. Just changed cover from another company to Arborisk and found the whole process easy to complete and affordable. Thanks go to Scott, if only everything was this straight forward. Russ
  5. Distels ordered. Thanks for the feedback folks. Russ
  6. One good point from both matches was the lack of play stoppage due to having to reset the scrum. When the Southern Hemisphere Tour was on last year, I stopped watching as the constant whistle blowing was killing the game, ended up watching the Rugby League World Cup instead which was far more enjoyable. (I say that as a RU purist BTW) Have the rules changed again or are we seeing the Referee use a bit of common? Russ
  7. Esgargots......... Russ
  8. Words escape moi. Russ
  9. Young blood (us) v old skool (them) - always a roulette wheel with a newish team. In anticipation!!!!!!! Aui reviour............ Predictable text got that as "aui reboot" BTW. Fitting. Russ
  10. Farrell, come on fella. Russ
  11. All down to the shape of the ball, good French defence - I hate saying that :-) Russ
  12. Eek! Handbags now, always a sign........
  13. As in Catherine Tate Nan? She says what I think worryingly. Russ
  14. Italy should of won that, close match. Now settling in to a Guinness afternoon of Us v Frogs. Unsurprisingly, I'm never sure of a result when playing across the channel. Bonne la douche mon enfants et petit pouis to the winner. Russ
  15. Not thought of that! Opens a new metal container of the wriggling stuff when you ask about type C v A thou.....? Heat & stretch over the knee mean A is good, but in terms of what is specified.......? Currently climbing in C' s BTW, but yet to try a hot spell. Think a new pair of A's is due?
  16. Agreed. No contest, but it's good to check it out if unsure. Russ
  17. Thanks guys. Always good to get things confirmed via first hand knowledge. Gotta love Arbtalk. Russ
  18. Comfort is key & I have used a set of Distels borrowed from a work mate, found them to be bang on. Just thought I'd fish for a Treehog user..... Russ
  19. Was going to order these Distel_Aluminium_Spurs_Classic - Honey Brothers Ltd from HB but have seen these Treehog Lightweight Alloy Climbers - Honey Brothers Ltd Treehogs discounted from a similar price range that the Distel is in saving £60, I wouldn't compromise price over quality - but wonder what the user verdict is? Thanks Russ
  20. I'm keen to stay with the high departed middle ( see what I did there :-0 ) plug system, but haven't tried the taff product to date? In anticipation..... Russ
  21. On the basis that the OP isn't part of the "discussion" any more...........has anyone got a 2mm flange rubber based silicone parted pressure tested sparkling spark plug for a 150T bungee leash going spare? Sorry for the hijack - blah blah. Russ
  22. Try Paul Peacock at Treetech. Based Hull way - I really rate the guy and his business / training approach. Russ
  23. I run a 58 Ranger and some muppet stuck petrol in it about 6 months ago. Got it sorted on the day and was running again but had problems with the fuel leak warning light showing. Diagnostic showed contamintation (no surprise there). Was taking 6 turns to start and not starting when warm, injectors cleaned, still a problem. In the end the fuel line was cleaned and a load of muck came out. Been sweet since. Hope this helps Russ
