That does say modified since wave instead of pure sine wave. Being RS you should be able to send it back if it doesn't work tho. The cheapest pure sine wave version is £100 https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/power-inverters/1793325

I do a lot of firewood processing, couple of hours at a time ringing logs on the pile. Anything down the fields usually means the 251, not because it's light but just fits in the cab of the tractor whilst still being able to use the pedals.

They do get harder to turn I guess -
251 isn't bad on an 18", but I tend to use mine with the tractor chipper and just fits in the cab. Light enough for long amounts of snedding and felling before the chipper, gutless for anything too intensive. 261 fine on an 18" on the woodpile, but would hate to lug it further than the pile as it's bloody heavy. What about the 271 ?.

Then they'll be shouting about how he drives around in 100k+ worth of equipment. That's the reality of needing such equipment, you have hours to harvest and bigger gets it done quickly, as with big acres can't be sat waiting for a contractor to do all the other jobs on the list first. It's not huge profits, but large sums of money moving like a tide for a modest profit.

Nope as the saying goes. "Farmers buy retail and sell wholesale". We both know the argument about producing food abroad, it's the BS co2 argument. All because you don't produce it they feel all warm and fuzzy, whilst we still have grass that needs to be eaten.

Well they won't stop growing food, they will however be forced to do one of two things. 1. Increase prices to pay for the fertiliser. 2. Increase prices but sacrifice yields, which would mean using more land to get the same amount of crop. It's almost as nonsensical as regenerative farming, it not regenerative it low input farming. Put simply you're just farming livestock on a larger amount of land.

Same here regarding subsidies, including stewardship etc. Paperwork would be more hassle than it's worth when you also factor in the restrictions it forces you to abide by. I would factor the subsidies argument, if it was paid directly for maintenance of say the public footpaths, gates, hedgerows etc. Dyson is another if recipient, I'm sure he owns most of Lincolnshire.

Probably hates Clarkson but will happily sit and listen to all the over sensationalised America gold garbage. We've hit the biggest load ever etc, then you realise they've found a lost gold ring at the mall!

I've said it before but let those who believe the world is burning pay more. Have a tariff for those that want to pay and we'll see how quickly the support falls flat. It's the elec/gas version of everyone is picky about firewood they're cold!.

A question comes to mind, practically every council house has solar panels especially in my neck of the woods. Does the tenant benefit in any way from these, as I've seen horror stories about they're bills being even worse after they were fitted.
