    They are 2 or 5kw, having bought an "8kw" for the workshop it's just a rebranded 5kw. You can't argue with the laws of physics when it burns 0.5l per hour, ie 5kw. It's cheap cheerful and it helps cut down on the 30kw torpedo use.

    That maybe the case, even your most to the rule planning guy will say give them an additional two weeks on any time frame to cover your bum. They love to pull the ask a question 4.55pm on Friday on the 6th week bs, which resets the clock.

    Having dealings with the NFU, it does depend on the local office, so maybe ring another office. Usually pretty good, everything has to go via Gallagher's the underwriters tho.

    Exactly, I would never say fuel poverty doesn't exist, as it definitely does but mostly for those with gas or electric only. It's not the 60s where everyone has a fireplace, I've been selling logs long enough to remember when people thought they were doing you a favour buying 6 months of you're hard work for a pittance.

    Or how I've afforded this really expensive log burner and now realised it's not as free as those TV programmes made it out to be.

    They are going to do it regardless of what is said or done, what's the difference between a stick with a nail and a Exocet missile. Both end up with the exact same outcome!. The Germans even used piano wire in ww2!. I'm not saying war is good, but that's what mutually assured destruction limits.

    Not really missed, more it's a necessity of life. We might as well earn something even if we're only 7th but most of that is actual tech, the French will be mostly missiles or nuclear submarines. The freed russian for a basketball player who went to Russia regularly and knew the rules is just a publicity stunt for uncle Joe. There is more deserving marines they should have released 1st.

    Whatever you want is going to be very limited especially if you're plugging it into the cigarette lighter socket. Less than 150w at 12v. I'm sure one of the other guys on here had a Landover with the "Range Rover Sport Webasto Diesel Heater" fitted ?.

    It would need to be hard wired to the battery tho at that amperage, unless you can find a 100w version. If your wanting a more permanent solution, diesel night heaters would be better but you start cutting holes in things for the exhaust.

    At 12v that's 42A Heated seat would be better option at 10-15A. But it's probably cheaper just to keep the engine running on tickover. People always said 15 minutes of idling equal a mile when sat in traffic, so say 1.5 litre an hour.

    No matter how much you rotate the wheels or play with the wipers, if you're carrying that spare like you just don't care it's going to cause parking issues 😉.
