  1. Well, only if they have one of those tiny kitchen waste ones, seems a bit over kill to throw the package into a full size wheelie bin.
  2. I think he fails the Turing test, but at a push it could be Marvin. If he starts complaining about the noise of the automatic doors we know which.
  3. Being naked wasn't the problem from what I heard. It was you leaving one of those you weren't in slips, but you must have run out paper and ink and wrote something almost illegible on a tissue.
  4. Yeah, it's that red-blooded Australian peaking through his tartan kilt.
  5. Cmon, even I thought of a paper cut to the throat!. The real death knell is a 2nd class stamp being 68p, parcel wise it's actually reasonable. I use the RM exclusively for any parcels.
  6. I prefer fancy orange B&Q buckets for Christmas, festive colours instead of the usual black feed troughs.
  7. If what he earns is being unemployed, sign me up right away!. He'll, I'd even do it for half of what he earns!. 😉
  8. Catch up, he works there and Scotland
  9. I guessed it was more against management, but you have to think longer term. Maybe keep the post boxes but have sensors to cut down mileage.
  10. Royal Mail: operating profit 2021-2022 | Statista WWW.STATISTA.COM The operating profit of the Royal Mail Group did not follow a stable path, and it mainly experienced dramatic ups and... But dubious about your postie, RM was designed to be a spread the costs. The urban areas paid for the rural deliveries effectively provided a universal service. If I remember correctly it was the allowing franked mail at 2-3p profit that damaged the service, think it was mandelson in the 2000s. Plus it's probably a bit like the old toyRus, knew a manager they made all the years profit in two months. Rest of the year they could barely pay the electric bill.
  11. So we strike because buisness is that bad we're going to have to become a parcel delivery company. Fail to see the positive logic there. I have noticed the parcel prices for RM are actually reasonable, in the past even FedEx were sometimes cheaper. Penny finally dropped I guess.
  12. I don't like the way my boss looks at me in the mirror when I consider that sort of extremism. He threatens to hurt me with that razor blade
  13. It's those bi ones that are the problem at parties, taking whatever they want is unfair on the rest of us.
  14. Biologically speaking gays are more a short term thing, it's not like anyone could be a 5th generation gay. Like my daddy and his daddy and his mother's uncles daddy.
  15. No, no, no. It's not shitetalk, it arbarisings. A free space to put all options & opinions through the discussion shredder and hopefully come out with a homogeneous and rich pile of steaming compost. No horse manure allowed
  16. Think the general idea was let's have a strike and turn the NHS into a dumpster fire
  17. Not taking any moral high ground, you could even argue we bombed ourselves as we ran it like India for a while. You can't compare Russia & Ukraine. The Russians abandoned it after the fall of the wall, you can't just say we called dibs in 1989.
  18. Well we dropped a lot of our to not find theirs.
  19. What I work for is largely irrelevant, I've earned more than band 6 and I've earned considerably less than band 1 throughout my different jobs. Just jumping on the pay them more bandwagon helps nobody. If anything it's utterly disingenuous to not even look at the pay scales with a little nuance, and you then still shout lets chuck a ton more money at everyone who could be on upto 110k and that's before antisocial or overtime!. So where is the limit to the weekly pay £500, £750, £1000, £1500 or £2000 ?. Sod it lets pay everyone in the NHS 55k, you'll soon wonder why petrol is £50 a litre and a loaf of bread requires a Zimbabwe style wheelbarrow of notes. After the nurses we will then have paramedics, ambulance staff, drs, highways, train drivers, prison staff, police, firemen, teachers again and then a spineless labour government and a big empty hole of money. If that's what you want fine, but those of us who have seen this bs before know that's what the union paymasters are drooling for.
  20. Mostly a very expensive agricultural restoration project. More building works, fencing and fending back 30 years of decline.
  21. And at the same time we pay the army next to nothing and see much worse and then get kicked to the curb when they leave.
  22. 1st year as my own business.
  23. Less than 25k that's for sure as a self employed sole trader. Electrical engineering, farmer and firewood processing.
  24. But I'm only doing it out of the goodness of my heart for the 1k
  25. Yeap, tony and his double school standards. Let's create a nation of media study graduates!
