  1. Removing the render will be the best option, start on the outside and replace with lime render as that's breathable and will be damaging the mortar and timber. If it anything like our old farmhouse you'll have rotting timber and all manner of bugs eating the damp timber. If that does the trick you might get away without doing the interior, dehumidifiers do help but you need to let the brickwork breath.
  2. No, but those at the top and those billionaires above them that they seem to clamour to rub shoulders and kowtow to need a bloody good reality check. People shouldn't be afraid of their government. Governments should be afraid of their people.
  3. But you know where they stand and what they stand for!. As most of them aren't blue, red, green, yellow but just a obfuscated grey hue of what issue is popular at that particular moment. Maybe you could pick a outstanding example of trust and honesty?.
  4. But labour love to decide everything by committee, that's partly why they end up fkin it up
  5. Thing is tho, I like JRM. Mostly because he's an unapologetic conservative, an actual conservative not a focus group media groomed faker. That and he obviously doesn't do it for the money, which in my mind makes it more old fashioned and doing it to hopefully do some good.
  6. Probably wanting to avoid a bad ww1 style headline if he gets into power
  7. The French were wanting to limit our electricity imports the other day, due to most of the French nuclear power being either heavily downrated due to issues with the construction or offline.
  8. Megan lemonade must be entirely lemon, with a floppy paper straw and the obligatory umbrella to bring a little class to the crass bs.
  9. I can safely say, a warm me is a happy me. A cold me is not a happy place to be around either. For a few litres of derv a day it's worth it to be toasty or at the very least able to feel your fingers and toes.
  10. Aren't Skoda owned by VW ?.
  11. Theres even a mahoosive gravy train in Brussels!.
  12. Oh, we're back to normal service again ?.
  13. No, the joke is that's the local leisure centre.
  14. Not a clue, left it stock on the H6 setting as the controller is a bit of a law to itself to decipher. The booklet says 0.64l per hour on the 5kw. It empties the 4litre tank and it gets refilled with red, I'm hardly watching it's use compared to the 30kw torpedo at 3+ per hour. You can't argue it's any more than a rebadged 5kw tho.
  15. Plenty of videos of the Scottish guy testing and playing with the hertz settings. What are you trying to argue ?.
  16. Fuel usage, you can't get overunity.
  17. They are 2 or 5kw, having bought an "8kw" for the workshop it's just a rebranded 5kw. You can't argue with the laws of physics when it burns 0.5l per hour, ie 5kw. It's cheap cheerful and it helps cut down on the 30kw torpedo use.
  18. That maybe the case, even your most to the rule planning guy will say give them an additional two weeks on any time frame to cover your bum. They love to pull the ask a question 4.55pm on Friday on the 6th week bs, which resets the clock.
  19. Working days
  20. Well you only have to wear one around men that aren't your husband, when it's just you ladies you might have been wearing it underneath!. Nobody knows what's under a burka, it's like the age old why do ladies go to the loo in two's enigma.
  21. I want to say you're joking, but one has to ask did you win the competition in the burka or the LBD ?.
  22. I had seen the luggage stealing thing previously, it's not even the first time either.
  23. Well actually there is a third option, NOR. Because they offered a poor selection doesn't mean you have to say yes Just leave the anti American until someone more deserving comes up.
  24. There's self service and then there is the personal touch 🙄. Is it a permanent glory hole position?.
  25. Having dealings with the NFU, it does depend on the local office, so maybe ring another office. Usually pretty good, everything has to go via Gallagher's the underwriters tho.
