  1. I suppose that's one way to hide the climate change guff from Gretta. Instead of save the planet, it's you minions can't afford to fly, eat or enjoy life. On a lighter note the telegraph was saying gas prices could slump, due to surprise surprise having storage means more stable prices.
  2. And would you believe anyone at the IMF, they're all ex EU types.
  3. Speak to a local installer, maybe send them the picture.
  4. The M25 is one of those horrible things you just can't avoid, it's like putting fuel in the car. You groan but have to get on with it 🙂
  5. They would mostly all be petrol engines, there are a couple of diesel version clones all made on China probably by the same factory. But they all use the same hi/lo rpm pump setup at an ear piercing 3600rpm, ear protection required and if on petrol they are very thirsty 2-3 gallon a day. I'm not knocking them, I've a petrol rock machinery one in the shed as a backup and it's what I started with but soon realised they have a ferocious petrol habit.
  6. What you do with an orange and strimmer line is entirely up to you 😉
  7. Could have also been the personalised dog collar with lost and found address.
  8. I didn't suggest that route but clipperclown did. Photography from a public place is generally considered totally legal, usual common sense rules apply tho. Photography on private property requires permission, which the guy paying him had. Ok the permission wasn't explicitly given for photos, but if your on my property I've given permission so any illegality would be very hard to argue.
  9. It isn't really a law, as technically I'm guessing he's trying to say if it's taken in a public place which is legal Vs private property. But you can't really revoke permission for a worksite after the fact. It would be akin to charging someone for criminal damage to a tree you paid them to remove.
  10. He had guy had permission to be on site tho, as he was working as a sub contractor.
  11. There's probably very little you can do from a legal point of view as you were a subcontractor and getting paid, maybe include a clause in any of your invoices?. Plus with it being a picture he took, obviously it's a douche bag move. But providing it's not making out your his employee, maybe in future take pictures of them to highlight the work you do for unskilled types ?.
  12. I think Ron was more of a rampant lady garden enthusiast than a professional woodsman!.
  13. Very true, but we can atleast in some way not elect them. I know very unlikely, but it's South park all over again, choosing between a turd sandwich and a douche. But at the moment it's the same all over the world, woke WEF weirdos. All pushing the same agenda and rubbing out noses in it.
  14. And were you happy to pee away money on more federal expansion, waste and gravy trains!. Which was something we could do absolutely nothing about stopping, halting or even reducing?. All empires fall, when they do they all return to running they're own country. The Romans learned, the French learned, the Germans learned, the Dutch learned, Scandinavia learned, the Russians learned and so did we. Some forgot a little too quickly
  15. Ok, we shall gloss over that they're printed in France on this occasion.
  16. Early days and all that until Liz grows a pair. Next you'll be saying lying starmer would be better, look everyone we sang the national anthem, probably just after the communist one!
  17. Northern Ireland maybe as it is an island, Scotland highly unlikely. Well those people on those boats didn't just miraculously appear from nowhere tho!
  18. They were talking of repaying early and getting out entirely again especially if the eurozone goes into recession. Granted it's the same wherever you are, but having a currency exchange rate for every country always helped.
  19. Definitely something to watch, especially as it's at the centre of the euro debt. Whatever happened to the mutterings in Greece about the same kinda things ?.
  20. Thought the top handle thing was more a Stihl dealer policy?. Like the Stihl policy of not sending chainsaws mail order but husqvarna will.
  21. What about the solenoid block?. That would be my first thing to check, usually two wires and a single retain nut. I tend to use a test lamp for such situations when scrabbling around fault finding tractor hydraulics.
  22. I don't think he actually said how to use your machine, that is upto you obviously. He can supply you parts but cannot touch the machine in any way shape or form, that's probably a grey area but wouldn't be culpable in the event of it hitting the fan.
  23. Let's put it simply, think of your fence boundary as an invisible wall upto the clouds. They are allowed to cut anything over the invisible line, but they have to offer it back to you. In reality I don't think anyone actually asks and just disposes of it tho. After all there is common sense even when being petty and or vindictive.
  24. If you don't want the tree cutting, why not just talk to them and say if you leave the tree alone you will cover any costs of damage if it does drop a limb on their fence.
  25. Something like this is probably what you want. DRAYTON 27100SX 2 PORT MOTORISED VALVE 22MM 22MM COMPRESSION (32455) You'd probably need to do a bit of research into how to do Combi connections, might be easier to keep the oil for the hot water and run the radiators seperate?. But from experience, having more full bore lever valves is never a bad thing. Worse case you just remove the levers to prevent accidents.
