  1. Our RAMS are tick box generated on the computer, enough content to make any site agents eyes glaze over and launch them into the filing cabinet. Real time wont work for us because none of our guys cant write. Bob
  2. As above, if you are spending on driver training you may as well go for the whole lot and be done with. Bob

  6. I am allowed one opinion a month so here it is . I feel that schools should stop this crap of teaching kids to pass an exam in an attempt to boost a schools standing in the league tables and concentrate on teaching them the subjects properly. After eight years of schooling every child should have grasped basic literary skills and have an understanding of maths. The last couple of school years should be spent assessing/separating out those that will go on to higher education and those who will go on to be become manual workers/tradesmen, they could then adjust the pupils last years of education to benefit them in their chosen careers. The construction industry ( as an example) is screaming out for tradesmen while laws are in place making it illegal to be on site under the age of eighteen, pure madness. At eighteen a lot of kids have left school and had a couple of years dossing , its a major struggle to bring them back from this. Bob
  7. I would forget painting the bin Al because its dented to feck and will always look rough. I would re panel the outside of it on the outer box sections with that lightweight pre coloured composite plastic/ali, you could rivet that on and it would never get damaged because of the cavity. Just thoughts. https://www.sheetplastics.co.uk/3mm-blue-aluminium-composite-1000-x-1000.html?price_display=2&gclid=CL2Q4ueb9c4CFcgp0wodiHoHzg#fo_c=1171&fo_k=d63c2282265a4d9e9fb13c6bd0c4e49f&fo_s=gplauk Bob
  8. If Stefan is not careful he will return home one day to find Mrs Stefan grinding on stumps. Bob
  9. I dont understand the pricing structure of roundup, £40-50 for 5ltrs or £80-90 for 20ltrs. Thats from Mole valley ( scats ) Bob
  10. Looking good Al, the Avant is the icing on the cake Bob
  11. Dragged it out with the 360 Richard, broken top link and bent the adam. A drop of about 20` so just as well the back went down first rather than fall in the pit side on. Bob
  12. Backing the mulcher through some Rhody/scrub and fell in a big hole:thumbdown:
  13. Its a good point, Mick said he will put diesel only stickers on them in an attempt to make them numpty proof. Bob
  14. They are only good for diesel so no chance of a fire, terminals are bolted on which is better than the croc clips the pumps come with Petrol is a completely different game. Bob
  15. Must be about 70lts in capacity Bob ? Spot on, the plate is being raised on the others which should take it up just over 80ltrs. Bob
  16. Al "A" section belts are measured on the inside of the belt. An A32 will be 32" or about 815mm long. Bob
  17. I was looking at some shots of the fallen bridge from the end and it appears to have been made of steel in the form of a big lightweight box section. It would explain how a truck just knocked it of its perch so easily.. Bob
  18. Jase there is help available for this disorder , pm doctor eGg . Bob
  19. Thats twelve units now so Mick said he will do a small run of them, will pm some prices when he works it out. He was in today and was checking they would fit in the back of the 4x4 trucks with the lid down. Even with the liner there is about an inch to spare.
  20. I will if there are deals to be had Bob
  21. Kevin a friend of mine keeps five Rotties ( in the house ) and they are absolute monsters of a dog, he somehow keeps control of these dogs in such a way that you would believe they were petrified of him ( which they are not). He can take all five out on a lead and if another dog runs up to him he just says " leave" and that "leave" is like an electric shock to them, they would not dare disobey him. Probably just as well:001_huh: Bob
